People forget that tyres have a life and asking them to keep working past their life is insanity. Do we know the speed ratings of those tyres? were they good for speeds in excess of 140kms/h at those operating temperatures under those loads?

why was the car at 140 km/h anyway.

PKNCAP test the vehicles at 140km/h, the driver was safe so the corolla obtained a 5 star rating.. others are welcome to test beyond 160km/h
