It is clear from these specification gli has no value for money after spending 2 million on a car you get an engine which has poor performance.

Salam, i just stumbled upon this thread and read many of you are curios about knowing Altis 1.6 I have been driving this car for over 2 months now with my reading almost 4500km. Anyways currently my mileage meter read 11.5km/l with stock tyres obviously and couple of trip from Pindi to Lahore via GT Road and Motorway. Now I can only compare my car with Honda City Steermatic 1500cc (previously owned it for over 7 years). The throttle response is slower compared to City but over acceleration is on par with my old ride. Since the gear shifting ratio is quite high you only feel the response at over 3/3.5 rpm below.

Car ride, personally i feel Altis is TOO HIGH for me its like 2 to 3 inches high from the sweet spot and because of this height while driving alone on motorway you can easily feel air friction on the floor of the car compared to having 3-4 passengers and a trunk load of luggage that air friction noise was totally gone even the ride felt better.

Last week got my fog lamps installed with HIDs and Taiwanese Body Kit (the one they install in Thailand Altis Esport Model) without the trunk lid. I have attached some images for your reference.

black colour looks nice in Corolla I have driven almost 1000 km but with Yokohama tyres advan db decibel 195/65/r/15. Euro star tyres are not good enough if u will change your tyres it will benefit you. Hid looks nice mashallah how much it cost you?

Thanks, I am planning to change them after 10,000 to 15,000km with probably 17inches rim with same Yokohama Tyres InshAllah. I dont care much about mileage but I love bigger rims. As per the shopkeeper these are 100Watt HID got them for 6500.

have you ever tested 0-100 timings of the car?

This is the ECU of new Corolla and it is installed in all automatic cars of toyota. Please cover it with toyota cover because if water goes into it then transmission can become faulty.

This is the toyota cover which I bought from toyota walton now I can wash my engine with water. It cost me 500 rupees.

after driving the car for one month I see a flaw in altis 1.6 which is that there are noises from the dash board and seats. imc should improve the manufacturing quality of the car. As for grande 1.8 there are no issues no noises 1.8 has better manufacturing quality.

Btw goto 3s toyota dealership and tell them your problems about noises they will surely fix it in free

I went to 3s dealer where I bought the car they did some taping and tighten the dashboard but still noises come they said it is the fault of Imc in Karachi where the car is manufactured

Bro my gli at is having same problem if u r use to of driving quiet cars u will notice same noises from dash board and while driving i found passenger seat making noice like vibration sort of v minor but as i said if u r use to of driving quiet car i-e 9th gen civic with yokohama advan db
My Corolla is also having advan db but ahmad36 is right and the dashboad seriously man how can a dashboard b soo easy to open full dashboard hardly 3-4 mins and no bolts only clips i think this model will start rattling early compared to previous ones untill indus do some solution for this pb.
I myself witnessed the dashboard opening of my cousins car
