My Grand Vitara

Guys, had some money to spare, and in the price range, had the option to buy a 2005 model Vitara, done 31K, 2.7 V6 Gasoline, excellent condition. The V6 propells this machine from 0-100 in 8.8s, beats the 1.6Vti, Se Saloons, the Lancer, you name it! Very very heavy on fuel, 8-9Km/Litre! Anyway, posting a few pictures, enjoy! At the end its still a Suzuki, not worth the price, but nontheless, very impressive!

@GLI Sir these Vitaras in 2006 & 2005 originally cost around 24 to 26 lakhs but since not many were sold Suzuki motors finally sold the leftover ones @ 1600000 its a fact you can check with Suzuki ,so the question is how come you bought a 37 k driven machine for 18.5 .....the seller took you for a ride or you are overstating the price by atleast 5 Lakhs.....A friend of mine has a black 2005 done 40k he is not selling it now because the best offers he got were not more than 12.5K these are the facts brother I intend no offence.

@jbk, Sir, I fully understand the facts. I am unsure about whether Suzuki offered them for 1600K, but if they did, then Im really shocked! I was offered the same SUV, brand new, done only 5k for 2200K from one of the dealers in Blue Area. I would like to add that this car is fully insured already till Jan 2009, so in that sense, although the high price, I even out, hopefully! I bought it from a friend, living two streets away, will go and confirm!

congrats on getting the japlopy! As mentioned by @jbk the price prevailing for a zero meter was 1.6m lat year, however they were all sold out when a friend of mine went to buy 'em.
its a decent ride, and not as common as the rolla or civic! enjoy

Nice Car and I think it is worth the price you paid. Only thing is that engine is 2.7. I have imported an X-EC last month and good thing about it is that it is the limited edition that came with V6 2.5 engine. it gives me 10/11 lit per km which is very economical looking at the power of V6 engine.
Also the cars which suzuki sold here in Pakistan were not really same as imported from european or other countries.
I have seen one of those and when I compare it with my imported grand vitara, you would prefer to pay 5 lacs more for european model. This car and specially this model X-EC that came with power of V6 but smaller capacity of 2500 to improve economy, is just amazing.

I agree suuki was selling the left overs for 15 lakhs. my friend was looking for suv and he told me that, instead he bought a prado. Gli got it very expensive

@moiztech, love the SUV! Esp the colour! I would have definitely gone for an import like urs, but my budget meant I had to stick near the 19 mark max! But defintely, the European model would be far far better. Hope youre enjoying your ride, I never thought a Suzuki could be this fun!
