UNEED k helmets kab se itne expensive ho gaye :S

Seen Them : Hyper Star & McLeod Road.

I have seen UNEED helmets ranging from 800 to 2500 rupees. I guess everybody thinks if it's UNEED, it's just 500 rupee.
This is a taiwanese helmet and much better than other cheap UNEED helmets if you compare them side by side, good quality visor is another plus.
I also got another UNEED helmet for 1500 rupee for my friend that day, quite a bit of quality difference when compared to 2.5K one. 800 rupee UNEED was also available which quality was just pathetic.

My choice is pretty much limited when it comes to helmets as most of the helmets in market just don't fit to my XL head

Nai aisi baat nahin hay. I have also seen those Malaysian UNEED Helmets as well, and indeed quality is also there given the price tag.

What i don't like (actually totally Hate), is the Design of the Helmet. You see that Half Plasticy area from one side going around the back, to the other? Well ... anyone wearing them on such a good looking bike, looks stupid (no offense intended).

But i really like those Chinese Replica helmets, which atleast have a better design. The shell is EVEN on all sides.

I enjoyed my friend Saeed's Deluxe alot @ my village
he has recently purchased deluxe what i found good thing in his deluxe
Atlas honda has further improved finishing of deluxe
i really like the color quality on hubs & engine magnet covers
rear brake light was fitted cleanly & rear fender looked of excellent quality
overall quality of bike looked improved to me finishing wise
it was really pleasant driving brand new black deluxe

Petrol tank capacity mentioned on manual = 12 litre (including 2.2 litre reserve)
Today i put 9.65 litre in it just after it hit the reserve and tank got full. So practical capacity is 11.85 , almost same as mentioned on manual.
GS150 tank capacity is also metioned 12 litre on manual, but in reality it can accomodate 14 litre.

i dont think self start is a much of a deal breaker ... unless u really hv a much higher cc ..it can be a personal preference though.. i hv used self starter for 7 years in my previous jialing 70 and its gone in deluxe but i dont miss it a bit as the kick is very smooth and it starts in just 1 kick ... rather disc brake is more of serious accessory, a life saver and gs150 is without it ... even the rear brake shoes on deluxe are monstrous as compare to gs150

Self start, although a very nice feature but ain't as important as disk. I had to make up for weak drum brakes in GS by putting a huge tyre at rear but offcourse still it couldn't match the Piaggio/Deluxe in braking power. After having few close calls on GS, i was seriously thinking to install diskbrake in it but sold it before i could.

Bhai ye baat tou main jab say Deluxe launch hua keh raha hoon that self start is not essential for 125cc, and alloys rims aren't suitable for our roads and rough tough terrains but at the end they say "Angoor Khatay Hain"

When people have shifted onto ANdroid and IOS smartphones from 3310..Single core computer to quadcores..Old bricks to luxury sedans,,i dont thing there is any reason not to accomodate this self starting feature of the present era..Infact self start features was introduced some 20 years ago..FOr a price of 118K considering being overpriced wrt to its true value why cant they accommodate this great feature?You will see chinese bikes and other reputable brands like suzuki,piaggo implementing this tech ..WHy not AHL??

Ask a GS or Piaggio owner does he prefer kickstarting his bike or self starting??The answer is simple..

when a automobile product is launched the target of launching company is not to target only young chaps but also the old fellows like me and persons with ageing problems , arthritis to be precise, keeping a kick start bike is a extremly painfull thing for these fellows specially in early cold morning. not a single product is launched by AHL with self start in pakistan for long long time, dont u think just to keep yr self in picture and ignoring the main fact that not only us but any elder person in our family does ride bikes should be given atleast a self start feature in his bike by AHL if he ride 1 from so called repuatable and relaible company in pakistan.

i have never kept a bike in my life without self start apart from kawasaki gto125 which belonged to my younger bro.

3-4 months ago when i was in Quetta there i met with AHL Quality Control Manager (Karachi Unit) Lt. Col (R) Sultan Ahmed then i asked them why they are not introducing self start in Deluxe. He replied that for this we have to make the engine smooth instead keeping it rough and tough. I was not having much time so, i didn't talk much.
I have his visiting card and when i will come back will go Karachi to meet him and will discuss in detail as archon2001 mentioned his problem.

Btw in August they are launching the new model of Deluxe let see what changes they gonna made instead new graphics.
