1.5 manual is better actually but Prosmatec at times felt as if it's pushing too much. It's allot better now.
The best thing i like about it is 5th gear cruising i am getting on motorways with a buttery smooth response.

Nice car MashAllah and good informative thread, though i must say a week ago when i dropped my Civic RS for servicing got a 2019 City as a loan car for the day, i was pretty disappointed with the ride comfort and road noise. I found the drive of Honda Jazz much better. That was my 1st ever experience with a city.

I haven't been able to judge the differenc yet to be honest. I need to drive the car more to be able to give the verdict.

I at one time did consider this, also from the a point of view that long term it may be cheaper. But then read that maybe such filters filter less. Then dropped the idea that for a 1.3 city its probably not worth it, any performance enhancing part.

I heard lots of negative stuff about this filter but i fill had to give it a try. I haven't found any difference after 2 days of driving. Let me drive more so that i can come to a solid result

I did alot of research and came to just one conclusion
There's no harm in extracting a little more output from your car.
After all, car manufacturers do it as well.

Power comes with the price of fuel. ECU can be tuned for high performance and there is no harm to engine. But companies give priority to fuel economy while tuning the engine because it is a daily commute car not a race car. You can get power or economy but the choice is yours. Even reprogramming and dyno cost is so huge that it will eat a whole years fuel.

You're right about the Dyno cost but unfortunately wrong about the first half.
There's absolutely no change in my cars fuel consumption, infact at times i feel as if the average is slightly better then before.

Tuning a carb is an entirely different ball game.
Performance tuned vehicles just have alterations made in their ECUs. It , however depends upon how far you have to take it though.
Remapping is being done from ages and with a proper remap there's no harm done to your engine. Yes, i agree with the engine longevity part though but that also comes with heavy performance tunes.
Also, Car manufacturers themselves routinely remap their own cars according to different regions of the world .

Recently, i switched to Amsoil 0W-20 signature series . I made the switch after hearing about unbelievable results by friends and fellow Pakwheel members.
My experience after driving 500kms on Amsoil :
I couldn't find any difference in the performance or fuel economy of my vehicle if compared with what i was using earlier ( Honda genuine 0w-20 , which is Total 9000) . I would still hold some part of my verdict and will drive more to experience more of my car on Amsoil signature series oil.

I have used the following oils in the past:
Mobil 1
Liqui Moly
Toyota Taglon
Shell Helix
Total quartz 9000 5W 30
Toyota multigrade 20W50

I personally feel that it's better to use Total Quartz with a 5000 drain interval ( because of the increased mmt in our fuel) instead of Amsoil with increased drain interval ( 10k kms) .

I payed 20k to MAXPOWER Lahore. They dynoed my car 2 times and i witnessed all the before and after results myself.

What a waste of money to use this oil in alto. I would rather never use this oil in any of cars available here which are at max 1.8L. This oil has long drain intervals and suited for cars with bigger sumps, means greater than 5 liter of sump. I would use this oil in a Merc with fleece filters to use it for 20-25k kms.

Brother he has used this oil in his Honda City 1.5PT (as the title says) and not in his alto. Rest @biloo can guide us better.

I don't know how you came up with Alto , i used it in my Honda City.
I agree with with you on most fronts and i used to add Mobil1 5W 50 in my E200 2007 with a fleece oil filter.
Having said that, i still wanted to try out Amsoil in my car to see if i can get a better response in my car in every possible way. What's so bad in it?
