Wow August must have been nice in Kalaam
Well 1st you need to remember on eid days there is a lot of traffic on roads...
Your best route to reach gilgit will be via Babusar pass (Naraan) ... Aur unn dino tau wahan se jaana is total suicide.. Naran is like the 2nd Murree of pakistan
So i would suggest you to compromise a little .. either you start all journeys at fajar time and
A) go via Naraan ... stay 1 or 2 nights in Naraan then leave for Hunza.. there is nothing in Gilgit.. so go straight to Hunza..
stay for there for 2 to 3 days.. visit Khunjeraab pass, Naltar Valley and Hoper Glacier
B) go via KKH.. its tougher and longer than going via Naraan.. likin shayad aap ko rush kamm mile
But as you can see from PW threads road kafi jagon se kharaab hai .. if you already know at what places the road is bad tau aap ka safar thek guzar jaye gaa
You will have stay somewhere in Besham, Dasu or Chilas first for 1 night... from there go straight to hunza
Hotels: Plenty of hotels in Hunza: Eagles nest, Serena, PTDC, and many many other hotels are there...
Eid per rates aap ko double milein gey (2000 ka room 4000, aur 4000 ka room 8000)
5000-8000 per night ka aapko idea hona chahiye.. (when we were in kalaam on eid days tau all good hotels were giving rooms at 8000)
Tau keep a healthy budget and book everything before leaving...
Jeep fares: i think they variate from driver to driver and your negotiation skills but 3000 se 6000 per day ka idea hona chahiye
