So, i drive into CitiCenter Mall on the way home from work to grab a bite at Mickey Ds and what do i see in the atrium?. A Marussia F1 car display!. Ma what?. Apparently the Marussia F1 team is for real and is a collaboration between Marussia Motors of Russia, Virgin Racing and CNBC. Odd combination but this car will be running at the Indian F1 GP this month. This promo was to familiarize with the public and offer Grand Stand tickets to the lucky few that could win the competition they had playing at this display. Ofcourse, i took pics.

today i test drove this xc60 while one of my cars was getting cleaned and my verdict is 'medium sized tank' which is what all Volvo cars are. predictably

the refreshed Skoda Rapid for the 2012-13 year. nice cosmetic upgrades enhance exterior but the interior reminds one of it's dark German parentage.

this is how the weather is in Chennai today. back to the damp and gloom , didn't feel like going to the gym and decided to check out the new Alto on the way home.
2012 All New Maruti Alto800. "for the asking price....." is the only justification for this car. Sadly, it is all new and i shoulda gone to the gym instead. price Rs2.5 to 3lacs.
i'm still in bit of a shock over the Alto.:o
a brief respite from the rain thursday evening so me and my nano decided to soak in the waves at Elliot's beach. I ate a grilled pomphret and seared scallop at a beachside fish joint. yummy. pity it got too dark to take pics of the food.
