i think the 1 is cool, the design is in contrast with the A-class which is a good thing for those who are conservative. there are choices. Got 20-25lacs?. buy one...

thanks:). i take my weary old olympus with me wherever i go. sometimes i come across wierd things on the road like in the pic below which turned out ok, but most times pics taken while driving don't turn out well. pity, 'cause it will make this thread a lot more interesting for you and me!.

take a pic of a blue 1, if there's one there. that is the best color choice for the car. i missed the blue test car by a minute at my local mall showroom.

Actually, for me the 1 series is very disappointing. They have stripped 116i of everything and priced at at INR 2.1 million. It does'nt have the MID, no automatic climate control, no sun roof, no bluetooth, no centre arm rest. Nothing. The petrol model is for ever going to be known as the poor man's BMW. The diesel sport has all the bells and whistles. And the price difference between the petrol and the diesel sport model is a whopping million bucks. The Diesel sport plus would be INR 3.5 million on road. Thats dangerously close to the 3 series. The A class on the other hand is only available in one trim and has everything. I think BMW is going to push the petrol like hell. And is also going to try and up sell the diesels. Lets see what happens.
