I've a Mitsubishi Pajero 1995 Diesel in mint condition. The only power I'm facing is that it lacks power. I've had it's ENGINE and AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION replaced with new mint one's. It ran perfectly for the first few months but then started the issue. It runs perfectly on straight roads but is UNABLE to encounter steep areas. I've had it checked by mechanics and they say that the problem is with your AUTOMATIC transmission. They suggest that I should have it replaced with a MANUAL transmission and it will run perfectly. The car is in GILGIT and checked by the gilgit's mechanics.
I can make a 20hr journey to Rawalpindi and have the jeep serviced by rawalpindi mechanics. But is that journey worth it? Will they be able to figure out what's wrong with my jeep? Should I replace my transmission? If so, what will be the estimated cost?
