Easy to drive in tight city traffic is the Nano's main USP. It's like a scooter with a comfy seats, a/c and stereo and funk.

I'm in a dither about two things, one the color choice for the Swift and the other, graphics on my Nano. If my Suzuki dealer and the graphics shop guy could get together they will both take pleasure in slaughtering me if they can. I'm thinking red right now. I'll have to make up my mind in a day or two.

Meanwhile, i also thinking about an offer i received for my Estilo which is 25 grand more than the dealer payout. This will cover half the cost of the new car. I was thinking about these things while my Estilo got a wash today.

I drive all three cars in turns. Variety is the spice of life. I haven't seen a red Swift yet to close on the silver. I'm holding out till the weekend when i have been promised a look at a red Swift. I'll update with pics if possible on all color choices and my close in this thread.

Also, a new improved version of the Nano has been introduced in the market this week with beige interiors, better seats, more color choices( pearl white for one which i would have opted for eight months back if it was available) etc.. I'll drop by my TATA dealer and post some pics in the "What's New..." thread this weekend.

I'm happy with my Nano and prefer the grey interior to the new beige. I would like the passenger side OVRM which is now standard on the LX model, though. I might get my dealer to fix it gratis when i get time.

re: new Swift , i will get delivery 2nd half of January. Swift production is back to normal but the backlog is more than 1,20,000:o I think i'm going to close on red color later this evening. I've seen silver cars on road and the color is too bland. I think the color choices for the new Swift suck.

as of now i have to decide on the side graphics. Half of me wants to leave it like it is and i just can't make up my mind. I can't make up my mind on anything nowadays.

Swift in RED ------ naaaaaa :S

I've closed on a red Swift Zxi and i will take delivery after Jan15th. I couldn't find a red car in the dealer yard and i came upon this red Swift while driving so i took pics to give you an idea. As i mentioned , the color choices for the new Swift suck and i think red is the best of them all. Silver looks good in the showroom but dulls out on the street. Wish me luck and GodSpeed for the delivery.

Anyways, today's thanksgiving and a long holiday weekend and just lookit the rain!.( It's pouring again in Chennai and going on a roadtrip is not an attractive idea , which i had originally planned as the forecast ain't looking good till Monday.I wanted to drive the Nano on the highways. Thanks for the wishes for the Swift.

I received a gift from my TATA Motors dealer yesterday when i dropped in to check out the refreshed Nano LX model. It's an authentic factory scale model with serial no. which will become a collectible some day, i hope. Made in China, ofcourse. Anyways, i appreciate the gesture.

:D.The 'milestone' i was talking about in my previous post which i forgot to mention was that for the 1st time, the Nano is in the 'Top Ten' sales chart for the month of November, 2011.

Sales of domestic passenger cars in the A, B and C segment totaled approx. 2,20,000 for November 2011 and adding premium and luxury cars to this number makes for a good month for automakers here despite global indices pointing downward.
