I seriously doubt you will be able to enjoy it. EVEN IF you are able to do a proper swap (engine, tranny, drive shaft alignment and levelling), the 2JZ GTE is about 550lbs, whereas the Renesis is about 250lb. My opinion is that you will ruin the car, all it will be good for is drag!

im confused
ofcourse auto is smooth but who wants an auto on a sports car.............i got a city in automatc now and cant afford to run a sports coupe on auto.

manual makes me feel like king....................and + with the apexi n1 at the back r154 is a must.

bdw i am not a big drift fn and neither a drag o holic i just would love to have a nice and fast car which i would enjoy to drive.

imtiaz was a big no no......attitude problem.

i have asked the michanics that they can screw any thing up but to make sure the mounts are as good as a factory fit.

and he has assured it is a straight fit and he wont cut up any thing. guarinteed.

rest ALLAH malik hai i am realy busy with my work, so left it to the michanics.

Complete Wiring Will Help As per Engine Running But Hope Its Mated With RX-8 Wiring Nicely As You Need Alot Of Stuff To Wire Together To Make Things Actually Work Nicely In Rx-8...Tricky Stuff....You Will KNow It Once Swap Is Done

the problem with an RX8 is that it was built around its engine. Not the other way round, so if you stick a 4 mile long engine like a 2JZ in it you get a car with its engine sitting above the axle line. ANYWAY - you know that already.

btw - what is going to be done about the steering rack?

according to my work experience if you try to do the wiring with engine in place in the bodyshell - Forget about it, it will be nitto tape galore unless your technician is removing the engine for this or has the hands of a 2 yr old with body to match.

Wiring is complete......so no need to worry abt it.....tranny of course is of great concern....as mentioned above if ecu needs to b changed id rather stick to the auto.....i am abt to leave for shershah to look for a manual but now im second guessing

id love to drop in a greddy intercooler but the fact of the matter is finances...........i was planning to do a stock swap and eventualy keep upgrading.

Look like the car went to srilanka to get all mods do e if I were u I would have made th rotory bak to life agai. Instead of swapping Toyota motor in a Mazda rip rx8

today I was on track...the 2 black supras lit hell up der several 100s of cars Karachi track scene is onn.........supra went head onn wid the hot hatch 98 civic..........it was killer but the supra wid the big spoiler was even more killer...................I saw 2 black supras, 2 black evos, several rx7 and 8s,1 350z yellow,,2 s2000,several tundras, rangies. facebook has livened the scene once again we have never witnesses such enthusiasm since the time we grew up. so top secret is in the making gona take it stealth to track inshallah this shud be the las week
