I wonder if Yamaha have any kind of feedback mechanism to gauge the performance of their service outlets/dealers.

Yup, I have in mind, but want to give on more chance if problems persist I'll definitely contact Yamaha..

105 to 110 kmph without any air bashing
101 kmph under air bashing
carpet road.. but my bike is also facing some missing issues after 108 kmph... but that didn't bother me as i mostly ride at 70 to 80 kmph..

i have yamaha ybr125 ESD... simple one... not G model. yar fact is fact 110kph is the max one can achieve in a straight run... its a nice bike.. one can achieve more top speed but not without MODIFICATION... it seems more like a touring bike to me... you can travel for longer distances over it as it can easily cruise at 80 to 90 kmph.. beharhal i really love this bike it satify my expectations from a bike.

one more thing i get my bike tuned from afzal trader.... there was a boy who did some modification on his bike. he installed a racing CDI imported from ali baba and also installed 8 rating irridium plug.. and his bike's head was gone... ybr can't handle higher compression... so its better to keep it stock and maintain ita as it is ... or else you go for an engine swap...

should i keep it or change to original ?

junoon's CDI is fine.. its doesn't hurt the engine but racing CDI does.... you keep it... btw what is your top speed with junoon's CDI ??

How on earth spark plug and cdi destored head? A hot plug can make a engine knock but seriously head damage from cdi :-!

no idea how it happened but both mechanic and the owner blamed CDI and spark plug... so i qouted there words and afzal traders is one the best places in Lahore for both tuning and modification of ybr125.

When you use an unspecified low quality plug what result you expect?
I am the first person to import iridium plugs for ybr and now i expand variety.

Cr6hsa is recomended plug for ybr.
When i searched online read international topics.
I found that cr7hix is bieng done in uk by tuners.
So imported cr7hix.

Here you go with the ranges.
6 is stock.
7 only because iridium.
8 much cold for a ybr....
6 hot 7 medium and 8 cold.

guys im also facing that missing problem but it only happens when i twist the throttle a bit fast.... i have checked it with sharif auto mcloed roand and afzal traders the issue is not resolved so after disappointment i went to my trusted mechanic who is honda mechanic at dharampura he is very competent guy.... he told me another bad news that the piston of my bike is making noise and is weak its only 1,620 kms driven i went back to yamaha guys and they told me that its totally fine but my bike is touching red line but only in 2nd gear and even with that gear i have to push it real hard then it crosses 9 rpm and when my bike was 800kms driven i pushed it and she achieved 118kph with no missing etc

It completely normal behaviour it would not redline at high speed due to small cdi the piston story is a big bs

What was being repaired in head?
