If you have a brand new car then warranty should cover it for up to 3 years but we are talking about 2-4 year old cars. If you have time check some BMW forums and you will be surprised to know the issues with German cars;) but they drive better then any car.

I will give you an example, while 2007 Lexus LS owners are complaining about wind noise in the cabin and uncomfortable seat, The 7 series owners are worried about coolant leaks and jerk in the transmission. Which owners have bigger issues?

The example above is reported by several 2007 model owners. Now remember both of the above cars are out of the warranty.

Thanks, And Zimbabwe, It is poor country now, but not 5 - 10 years ago. It was far ahead of us. Even now it is poor but not backward, I was in the second largest city which in not too big and even that had a racetrack and all modern facilities. But back then the inflation was so high that the huge shopping malls very all empty with nothing on shelf, We even had to go to South Africa to buy salt and Sugar, Now that they don't have any currency things are better, and things are coming back to life. The best part is, you can rent houses built by British royal families and Billionaires for almost no rent.

Kenya is toyota country, 99% cars are Toyota, I also have a premio and mark 2 here. And well Premio is the Alto of Kenya, The most abundant car on the roads.

Vajih Toofast is right, BMWs Mercs they are full of problems, and the worst part is it is hard to fix them. Engine Oil Leakage, it's with every second BMW. We had a black BMW which we got for around 25lac and it gave us HELL! I started to fear german cars due to it, Even still I do, and we had to sell it for 5 Lac because it started Engine oil Leakage, Coolant Leakage, and ...............

Mashallah nice car. Should've got a bigger engine if you could've. 2 ltr is bit too small for 5 series in my view. Have had 520D (2007) and thought it was small engine for the body size. Never the less, it sure is comfy and relaxing car. Have fun
