Its not a drama you have to add AHL oil and then get ur owners manual sign and stamped. If u dont sign and stamp then warranty is gone..

And dealers would only sign stamp their own ahl oil

First you are saying that we are not sharing personal experiences and you are saying that we are sharing experiences of different people. Both these things are the same. My model was 2006 and my friends have owned later model of sprinter and they are happy with it.

I don't know how you people judge a bike on it's reliability. You have just created one formula that if it's AHL then it's reliable. I will only agree to the fact that AHL's parts are easily available. I would rather prefer to bear some burden to find and buy the right parts for my non-AHL bike rather than torture myself by riding that vibrating pre-historic junk.

And as @abobobilly said " If thats the case then i am afraid your tyre alignment is out of order. Kindly change the Rims (as already instructed) and get the tyres inspected from Rim wala. The brand new tyres these days are very poorly misaligned, so if thats the case then i am afraid you are looking at atleast 10k in expenses to get them changed ... to be able to have a "PROPER" ride."

So you have to spend at least 10k on a brand new bike to make it run like the way it should. THERE IS YOUR RELIABILITY SIR!!!

You can celebrate ur sprinter all ur life. Good for u... u can complain about CGs too, but any member with some decent experience can tell u more in detail how Honda is still a better quality controlled bike.

I know I havent bought a bike with best value for money.. bt i know its still gona be more reliable at least.

lets go to a suzuki showroom and find a single suzuki which has a straight rims!

Gs150's rear rim is known for puncturing tire... people replace tire and rim of a brand new beloved suzuki gs150 of urs...! All sprinters had poor rear brake problem....

It is an established fact that suzuki is making poorly finished bikes... earlier members also complained about poor paint job... looked like single coat.

I can go on and on... im not claiming that Honda is trouble free... bt its defects are minor in nature, can easily be fixed.

Now if all thread spoilers... if ud plz leave this thread alone id be thank full...

I havent driven it much yet, specially not on high speeds.. but Alhamdolillah... there is no khatak sound as reported by many members previously... im using hi-octane with mixing in regular fuel and knocking is also minimal and not annoying.

No patakahs...

Rims are of SOMO company and I also had that installed in rear wheel of my junoon... its a good quality rim.

SOMO is good quality rim as far as i know. I don't know why it is being considered low quality here.
When i bought SOMO 2.15 rim to replace rear rim of my bike, alignment guy praised its quality. But when he put stock rear rim at front, he was saying that it's so so compared to SOMO.
Though i never had any problem with stock rim either. Not a single puncture in 6000Km.

I would say let it wobble for now. Complete the running and then get it aligned altogether with tuning etc...

So you guys think SOMO rims are of good quality and you don't need to change it? Let me explain you the reason why you think along these lines. I have driven my bikes on these SOMO rims for last 4-5 years and the agony i have faced, only "I" know this.

SOMO rims are famous because of their Chrome quality. It utilizes the basic concept of "covering sh*t with gold" and customers are satisfied. In reality, they are so-so in quality. Ask any "Wheel Balancing guy" and he'll tell you WHY these Rims are "enough to do the job" and not really the best in quality.

Even if you 100% align then, there will always be a risk of them getting mis-aligned again, even if you drive your bike on carpet roads. Which means you'll have to get them re-aligned every few hundred or thousand kms. Otherwise, the alignment will be so minimal that you won't even notice. But this "tiny misalignment" is enough to kill you on high speeds. Because as soon as this CG125 goes above 60, you will notice the "wobbly" and "twitchy" nature of the bike. THAT my friend, is due to these poor quailty Rims and tyres.

I have also made a thread about it here at PakWheels, where i bought Araya Rims because they are much better in quality and i don't need to get them re-aligned so much. They are very close to Japanese quality Rims (except are manufactured in Thiland). If you choose not to change your rims or tyres, its OK because it'll still do the job. But, the sooner you realize the tension of getting them realigned again and again, the quicker you will buy better quality rims and replace them.

So the bottom line is ... even for your AHL's "reliable" bikes ... you still have this problem where you will have to change its Tyres or Rims even when paying above 1 Lac. Deluxe shares the same fate. Its not just limited to AHL, and other bikes also have this problem. How else do you think these companies are able to generate such high profits? Because they are cutting down costs wherever possible. (New Plastic seat in CD70, CD Dream and CG125 Euro 2 is a clear example of that. Or the Gear Box problems which are STILL there but company does not acknowledge it as a "problem".). Yet people still believe on its reliability eyes closed. People really need a smack on their head to get their sh*t together and use their brain for once.

I went to just ONE honda dealership and they had just 2 CG dreams in stock. I inspected just one of them and believe me i could not find a single scratch or a mark on the whole bike. It really was brand new. I can also confirm the rear brake issue if the sprinter, mine locks it rear wheel very easily, but the front brake is very good and i havent had to change the brake shoes even after 16k KM. Paint quality is HORENDOUS. Chaabi touch b ho jaye to primer nazar ana shuru ho jata hai

Same experience when i bought Deluxe. Atlas bikes have much better finishing than competition.

That and may be an extra coat of paint. A black CG's paint looks much better with its darker shade and shine when standing beside a GS.

I have seen this issue.
There is a current distributer or something exactly under the fuel tank, don't know the exact name. Need to remove the fuel tank to access it. He needs to get that part changed and if i am right he will be ok.

Haha... yes boss, have been there... faced it! Junoon k sath b bht kuch hua tha.... kafi zada tang kia usne... aur hamesha e kia, i had to learn how to treat her so that she doesnt mind... aur paise b khub khak hue thy..

At that time i was a student and totally felt depressed and devastated... woi baat ha, shuru men mein jab PWs pe neya neya aya tha tou yan ka mahol he aisa tha k soon i was anti-honda... i was all with piaggio and suzuki, but with time and experience I matured and realized all is not well with other brands and all is not bad with honda..!

Apni need dekh k bike leni chahye nah k fanboy-ism k peche... my need was A. Reliable B. Comfort got a deluxe trying to fill both needs... kam nai bna, got Cg instead at least point A is secured.

Still... i love it... but maintaining it is very demanding... and i cant give that much time!
