I felt that bike is missing a bit whenever i drive it at constant speed. I can feel light jerks @ 4000 rpm in 2nd and 3rd gear. This problem started after tuning.
Is there any connection of bad adjusted tapets with missing?

@farhansa ! Could be:
- Too tight tappets adjustment resulting in less air to be sucked in, hence the jerks
- Fuel mixture set too lean, due to which carb injecting less fuel than required
- Spark plug issue, wrongly adjusted or faulty spark plug not doing the combustion process well.
- Dirty fuel from fuel stations.

as you told its happening after tuning so it has connection with tuning
i recommend check every thing which mechanic touched while tuning
during my last CD70 tuning mechanic forget to install breather tank pipe with air filter
and once when i had pridor he forgot to tight carburetor bolts simply these mechanics
are idiots i recommend check spark plug cap is firmly locked on spark plug check
euro 2 pipe connection with filter and check carburetor its tighten or not
if still you face issue than i guess yes he has messed with tappets
and tappets needs to be readjusted or oh one more thing check chain settings too

simply inspect bike your self to confirm every thing is correctly installed back after touching

Thank you so much for your valuable comments. I went to the workshop again and told the whole story. The mechanic opened the plug, widen its gap and reinstalled. Also adjusted the screw on carburetor. Though the problem is not solved entirely but improved a bit.

same here never saw a cg dream here. but recently was in wah cantt and Lahore and there are alot of cg dream's there. how was the oil after 1800 kms?

hi bro. i have read ur thread today from start to finish, each and every post that is. thanks for the info. i have a 2012 pridor and its done less than 7000 kms till today. i m thinking of changing the bike to either CG dream or Deluxe. money is not an issue because i wud be purchasing the new bike from CSD through hire purchase scheme (i m in army).....so...kindly give me ur advice....overall, in comparison of CG dream and deluxe, considering build quality, road grip, fuel economy, ride height, looks...if u have to chose one of the bikes, which one wud it be

how much compromise ??? thats the question. i m upgrading from Pridor, remember...so even deluxe shall be reasonably more powerful than Pridor, no ?? and how much difference of power in between Deluxe and CG dream.....lets mark it on a scale....

than how much is Deluxe.... ???/100
and Pridor...... ???/100

deluxe & cg engine both have same power as far as smooth performance is
concerned deluxe has best engine no khir khir sound or knocking
however cg dream engine has all these issues present khir khir & knocking
and also an known issue being reported not present in all bikes but found
in many cg classic engines clutch box noise issue which is reporting in good
numbers since 2012

deluxe does not feel under power its just some thing wrong that it struggles to achieve
max top speed so in this it loses competition against cg engine some deluxe does 100+
but not all khanBhai have purchased around three deluxe i guess his experience was very bad
in terms of top speed his bike was doing only 90-95km/h and he had this same complain on deluxe engine
but recently he bought 2014 deluxe and changed its sprockets changed cdi with older model cg cdi unit
according to him his deluxe touched 118km/h

power difference between cg deluxe and dream will be 50% less acceleration and 10% less top speed but it will be better than pridor
