features are cool
what about durability?

i cannot tell anything about durability as i have used it for just one month. BUT to tell you, its central locking has NEVER faulted even once.
All the doors lock and unlock . matlab, not the case keh eik door unlock reh gya ya lock nahi hua like we see in many cars around with locking fitted from mechanics.
there is a feature in the car, keh agar koi bhi door window neechay ki ho, and gari say utartay waqt usay oper na kiya jaye, or gari ko LOCK kiya jaye... to windows khud oper charh jati hain ?>> they have never faulted it works so perfect till yet :)

to quote one man... about 6 months back i had found a driver sitting inj a black chery qq, he said keh after 4 years AC ki gas leak ker gai thi ,,, and baki powered side mirrors , windows ya locking ka koi fault nahi till yet.

but mera experience utna hi hai jitna i told you in blue text

Mashallah! Nice car. QQ is much much better than the Suzuki crap (Alto/Mehran) sold here for exorbitant prices.

Only problem I see is proper servicing and parts availability.

@OP: Have you investigated availability of parts and servicing in case of any trouble? If so, please share details.

Yes i did full research on it.
For servicing: and mechanic dealing with vitz, japanese motors , civic city, can do the servicing adjustments. mostly can understand this car too,, and too well .
For parts : there are two dealers in lahore (one is chevrolet platinum motors & dosray ka nam mind mei nahi hai i found tht through google) ... the rates for parts are non negotiable since the pricing is set by Karakoram motors in karachi and you can see the prices on their computer screen and confirm it by even calling to karakoram motors karachi. like the dealer told me the price of clutch cable is 1300 rs if i m not forgetting.

ryt ...i ll post the pic of speedo meter too. -------- then there is a feature i found today : if at night headlights of car are switched on , you park the car and SWITCH off the ENGINE but dont turn off the headlights, the headlights go off automatically.... yani keh now the ladies cant have their cars parked and left, with headlights turned on to ruin the battery

The brightness of the dashboard knobs and speedometer area can be changed too through the rotary dial on the right side.

Did your car come with the hazard indicator in a box (placed near the spare wheel)?

Yup i got tht hazard indicator stand with reflectors .to b placd by car for safety frm incmng trafic whn changng tire etc

6 years back I had to decide between Alto or qq...I went for alto, particularly cuz money was not my own collection and people kept on saying 'market' 'market' 'market' 'resale' 'resale'. Im going to sell it in few months hopefully for more than what I got it for, qq would have been sold for 4-4.5 now I guess. Other than that I really liked this car...it was fun to drive, a nice 'dinki' I must say...congrats!!!

That is not a buttonIt is just an indicatng LED , which blinks when car is locked by remote control .chery have named it burglar mode in car booklet bt i dnt v idea wht it does

On petrol , about 12km per liter with ac turned onAnd nearly 18km when ac is off.CNG nt testd yet as runing of car is nt cmplete.I ll post pics soon

congrats. looks nice. itni zyada tareef? brother is this car really that good? I hope that this time they have removed all previous defects. It was always being claimed from them since 2005 or 2006 that this car will be a success in future. but it never attracted buyers. My cousin had an older QQ. its gear stick was stiff. build quality was obviously cheap at some places. look at front doors welding and under the trunk and you will know. engine sounded horrible. engine bay was built from really cheap and thin metal sheet. gaps at the console. this new price is only justified if all previous defects have been removed. waiting for interior, inside trunk and engine bay photos....

8.2lacs seems a lot of money in any currency for a small car but i must say that the build quality looks good and it is loaded with features. a much better choice than what is available locally in your market for this price. enjoy your car and best wishes.
