Mine did 370km in one tank using desi method but it was with too much idling with Ac.. Now second tank is going on and i am avoiding any sorts of idling with Ac

If your car is new than do the proper break in first bro.
I got this type of consumption after first oil change at 2500km.
I hope that it will increase after 5000-6000 when I go for an oil change and a filter change

My budget would be around 20-23 lacs. Out of this 17.4 lacs would be loaned by the company and i would contribute the rest.
Kindly if any one could guide and tell me abt corolla 1.8 or 1.6? I was interested in 1.6 altis but the booking time is almost 4 months. Someone advised me abt 1.8 cvti or new civic. The new civic is way too costly and not sure whether it would survive rural driving where there are also no mechanics for honda.

Bro, this costed me 22.10+150,000 non filer tax. I also had only one problem. Driving in rural areas at my hometown RahimYarKhan.
Corolla always had a durability factor, and now it's much comfortable and powerful than before. I would prefer 1.8 over 1.6 because 1.8 have cvt and 1.6 have old conventional automatic.
Also, the fuel consumption I'm getting is 12-13km/l within city and 16+ on highways.
Corolla always was and a king of rural area and as far honda civic is concerned: driving it in rural areas will be a "no no"
My personal advice is to go for Altis 1.8 cvt (non grande) or Altis 1.8 manual (non grande).
In a 26 lakh civic you won't get navigation, but in 20lakh 1.8 Altis you will get sygic navigation.
Plus points of 1.8 cvt:
Comfortable
Economical
Powerful
And an all rounder car that you can take anywhere you want.

I was going for gli automatic, but when I drove it, it was way underpowered. I personally didn't like the gearbox of Altis 1.6 (felt like it was in between gli and wanna be an Altis car) I was going for Grande Manual transmission, but all of sudden I changed my plans and chose 1.8 cvti cruisetronic.

The suspension of corolla is far better than city, road grip is also better than city because front suspension of 1.8 Altis only is independant mcpherson struts, other variants have semi independant suspension. As far durability is concerned, you won't need any work on suspension upto 200,000kms.
This is my first automatic and believe me it's way responsive than all other automatics because of CVT, I would recommened you to go for automatic one instead of manual, but if you wanna go for manual than you can go for Altis 1.8 6speed manual.

Yes, front is bigger and length is one feet more than a city.
Corolla Altis 1.8 variants can't be compared with city because they are 5 steps ahead of city in everything.

I'm driving corolla from last 10 years. Both of them were gli.
Both are driven upto 200,000kms. Suspension work uptil now for both cars costed me only 8000rs. That's close to nothing when comparing to repair of Honda's suspension. Corolla doesn't wobble, it is smooth. I have driven it to 210km/h and it doesn't give any vibrations even at such high speed.
It gives good fuel consumption being a 1.8 and an all rounder car.
My advice, go for corolla and you will love it. My friend own 2006 honda civic vti oriel prosmatec and he was like after driving my car, "nae yaar, is dafa Toyota nay bhi achi gaari bana di hai".

Indeed corolla is very reliable but so is city. We have owned every generation of corolla till now i bought city. In terms of maintenance both are almost same.

Ive seen abnd checked out the new shape city. Im not a fan of it. People say it's not reliable. But yeah its boring that it hasn't been changed since 2010. But personally even though i was never a fan of city, i happened to like the facelifted one. It looks pretty good and interior assembly is better than corolla.
