get taglong 5w-50 for your vitz. its better than micking. i have been using micking max premium 5w-50 in my vitz and it works well however toyota taglon is even better.

Frequent hopping of oil isn't recommended, please use the oil that you're currently using. It will affect seals in engine. If you're satisfied with one oil than keep on using that one instead of hopping to another just because we have said its better. Its better for our cars, but we can't say it will be good enough for small engine of vitz.

Your vitz have cvt. When you will change cvt oil from toyota they will calibrate it manually as well as through computer.
I recalibrated my car's cvt under warranty as there were some jerks and deceleration sensor wasn't working on every type of brake. Now it gives engine braking even at 40km/h

i got the understang but didnt get the exact meaning. what i understand from your explaination is calibration is some kind of process in which they reset or do some setting with ECU for CVT to work proprly in which deceleration sensor and engine braking is involve.

this cannot be done by just reset your ECU? removing your battery terminals n reconnect them and start for a while.?

Nopes, its a whole process of 30minutes for Altis cvt.
it's an intelligent cvt. it learns your driving behaviours afterwards.
Cvt calibration is of two types, the one they do at cvt oil change which is mechanical calibration, and the one they do with computer is calibration of cvt sensors

How is it an intelligent CVT and what type of driving behaviour does it learn? I mean what's there to learn? Doesn't it all depend on the throttle you are applying?

You have to make it learn in first 30minutes of driving. Toyota drivers will do it for you, or they'll let you know. In my case I accelerated differently upto 80km/h and stopped. Did that five times and drove pretty neatly and just on 3-4 bars of eco indicator all the way to home. Yes it is intelligent, when you accelerate it hard upto 100 and bring accelerator pedal to normal speed it keeps rpm a little higher and let it drop after sometime; Moreover, engine braking changes according to the speed and braking you do.
