If I'll be at your place I would have gone for it, coz of the price, suppose it has a bad resale. It will still sell at the price of gli at least. Just go for it. It's the fastest corolla, and it would be a charm to drive it. you'll love it and you'll love your decision. Goodluck

In altis only grande has resale. Manual ones or simple altis doesn't have good market share.

Corolla resale value are as such:
Corolla gli/xli
Altis 1.6
Altis grande 1.8cvt
Altis 1.8cvt
Than comes the manual ones.

Jab hardtop civic ki resale hosakta hai to corolla ki nahi? At the end of the day its a corolla, it will fetch you good money. If gli takes a week to sell than cvt will take two weeks to sell

Guys i would advise is dont sell out your corollas. What i see is when new model is coming there are many sellers and many new booking which increases the waiting time for new vehicles plus reducing the resale of existing ones.
If you wait a few months your cars will sell 50-100k high than what they will sell now because because on new car wait and own will be more.

And secondly selling now for speculated price and features does not seem wise

I am contemplating upgrading my 2015 grande as well but i will wait and see and probably decide about in in January

Go for it. From gli to altis 1.8 is a big leap. Its a corolla it WILL sell. Aur peope be like grande has better resale. Yeah right it also costs 4 lakh more.

AMG is also an option pack available in mercs that comes with different grill and rear diffuser different seats however engine is 2.2 diesel.
