My new Corolla Altis CVT-i Cruisetronic

After driving my car for 1800km.
Here's the review

Fuel consumption within city is 11,12,13 km/l, fluctuates according to traffic conditions.
Fuel consumption on highway is 15-17km/l, haven't tested on M2, but for sure It will give better fuel consumption there due to cvt and cruise.
Driving on D feels much sportier and economical as compare to driving on M(tiptronic). M mode gives a little delay, but D model is damn fast.
Rpm stays between 5300-5900 on full throttle. I can't drive my old gli anymore coz I'm in love with this car <3
Try not to push it hard, it will suck petrol. If you will are gonna economically it will sniff petrol

I am confused between a 1.8 Cvti Altis and 1.8 Altis Grande. I am a student, and don't want to waste too much money. I don't need a sunroof,leather interior and climate control. I just want to have the new wow meter, can you please show a video of that? And does your odometer have that full sporty feel? (i.e it rotates to the max, and comes back to zero,when you switch it on)?

Maps are superb. They work really well, better than those coming in Hondas. I gave him an order and he made them for me in 2 days at the price of 6500 with installation

It doesn't have paddleshifter, but it have tiptronic in the shifter

You can go for cvt variant or grande manual. Both are in almost the same price

Today, my car gave me 14km/l round trip from nankana saheb to Lahore. Why it's so low?
While I was returning home there was extreme rain and wind all the way from nankana to Lahore.
In rain or wind every car will give a less fuel economy because your car have to do more work.
Also, this fuel consumption includes one run of 210km/h

It's giving me 12-13km/l if I drive it economically within city. Those who say that their car only gives 8km/l are the ones who drive it on a hard paddle. 19/20 ka farq hai fuel consumption ka agar GLI say compare karo.

For gli just change the player and for alris 1.6 @autophile can help you out. I think he turned on maps for his Altis 1.6

I have already booked Altis DVD for my GLI upon delivery to be installed by Toyota Township by itself as Gli doesnt have DVD in it, will it work or need to load maps in it too.
