My new Corolla Altis CVT-i Cruisetronic

I have already booked Altis DVD for my GLI upon delivery to be installed by Toyota Township by itself as Gli doesnt have DVD in it, will it work or need to load maps in it too.

No idea about that, btw Altis doesn't have dvd as well. Everything is on USB and bluetooth nowadays

I need your advice. I had booked an Altis 1.6 in April, and it is due to be delivered in July. Considering the fact that I am student (fuel expenses, maintenance charges), should I stick to the 1.6L Altis or get the 1.8 Cvti Altis?

The things that inspire me to switch to the 1.8 cvti are;
1.Wow Meter (It's really beautiful, but its not that necessary).
2.Steering Controls (always wanted a car with steering controls).
3.Fog Lamps

The steering controls, and fog lamps can be added after market. But I am worried that factory-fitted accessories are no-match for after-market installation.

Since, I am a non-filer, I have to keep in mind the non-filer taxes.
Final question, is it worth it if I spend 2.6 lacs extra and get the 1.8 cvti?

Totally worth it. 1.8 engine is more powerful and with a cvt you get immense power and beautiful fuel consumption.
You can't get steering controls from the market because one of them is directly connected with meter.
It's giving me almost the same fuel consumption as that of gli.
You will get jacknife key, trunk tray, better Imid, better infotainment system. New meter, better fuel economy, better consumption, koito fog lamps, matching grille with headlights, split fold seats, cruise control, eco indicator and eco meter etc.

I would say that go for Altis 1.8 cvt, if budget is an issue than go for Altis 1.8 manual

Budget is not an issue, My dad has given me freedom to choose whichever model I want. I am just having second thoughs whether i should spend it or not. But thank you once again, i shall go for the 1.8 cvt.

Same was in my case, i was going for Gli or Altis 1.6 by my money. My dad came in and asked me to go for another model even If you want grande, but grande wasn't practical for me. So, I went for cruisetroinic. If you wanna go for manual than grande manual will be an awesome choice

It's corolla, it will give you good amount of money even after 5 years.
The difference of money from same model gli will be of 2/2.5 lacs

If you wanna go for 1.8 than please go up and check my comments. I have also adviced one of the member to go for 1.8 cvt due to several reasons.

Fuel economy or my car has drastically changed after 2000km. More like after I hitted 210. It's giving almost 17km/l now when I mantained it on 100 and cruise on. on 100 eco indicator is only showing 2-3 bars. That means fuel economy is between 15-20km/l
Damn that's crazy. Anybody know why It happened after hitting top speed of 210? @xulfiqar bhai @autophile @makhdoom123
