My new Dell Inspiron 1564

]Hey guys.

I just bought my new Laptop today. This thing looks great on paper, just Look:

Prossesor: Intel I3, 3mb cache, 2.13-2.57 ghz speed.
Have to add a foot note here: This thing has built in Hyper Threading like a little more high end laptops. That basically means if u are doing some heawy duty stuff like playing a game, the prossesor autmatically overclocks itself upto 2.54 ghz. Awsome.

Ram: 4 gb, DDR3, 1100 mhz
HDD: 500 gb
(Note: In previuos model I had to format new computer to create different partions, this thing came with that done. C: is 55 gb while D: is 440 gb)

Audio Card. Intel HD sound
GPU or grafic Card: ATI Mobility Radeon HD4330 (512 mb dedicated ram)
Screen size: 15.6 inch with 1366 x 768 resolotion.
Webcam: 1.3 megapixel built in.
Weight: 2.5 kg

As U guys can se, good on paper. BUT as a regular user to laptop, I have expirenced that laptops good on paper doesnt always turn out to be that great. So I will post my experience here, and share notes.
If u wanna know something just ask.

Oh yes. Forgot to mention that.
It cost 8000 nok which is 8000 x 16 = 128000.

*The weigh to size resio is excellent.
*Internal speakers are above avereage, but they have almust no base.
*Cpu Fan is kind of noisy at times
*The trackpad is placed weired but u get used to that after one hour, and the keyboard is excellent.

Body is pretty weak as compared to older models. Keyboard is nice but broke down relatively quick, although it was abused a bit with long fingernails lol. Fan does make alot of noise sometimes and gets a little too hot if used on a blanket for a while. Love the laptop thou.

hmmm, download 3d mark vantage
run the test and post the result
lets see how much juice this Lappy has

Try some gaming on it
try RE5, run its benchmark
also crysis and crysis warhead and COD series

I have tried some games like crysis warhead, just cause 2, latest cod etc, all of them runs perfectly fine.
There was a toshiba I5 avalible for exactly the same price, but I went for this cause this one was slimmer and better battery life. I will do some benchtest and post em.

Oh and next time you need to create more drives/partitions on a laptop/desktop that has just one, you can do so with softwares such as Partition magic or Paragon partition manager without formatting or anything else of that sort, they let you create as many drives as you want out of the free space available on the 1st drive. Pretty easy yet handy. Enjoy!

@Doc: I have to say that disagree. The colour seems fine to me. Ofcource they are not as good as my Full HD tv, but its fine for watching bluray movies etc.
