Thanks redbull saab.
The speakers are from Monitor Audio and are the bronze series. I've got 2 center channels one as the front and the other as the rear surround I put their Dipole speakers of the same line for the side surrounds. The sub is from Velodyne (12 inch) in the back of the room. This is mated to a Denon 2805 receiver which is a bit older but my budget is currently blown and can't afford to upgrade that yet. inshallah in the future I want a dedicated preamp for cleaner power.
As far as HD-DVD, my wife will not allow me to spend another cent on the theater LOL. So far I only have the Blu-ray player (PS3). Unfortunately at the distance I sit from the screen, DVD's look horrible so I typically have to watch them with the size reduced to about 60 inches or so. They have really good external upscalers like the DVDO ISCANs but again out of my budget
I'll post some pics later of a screen shot. This 1080p projector is the best priced at the moment and got great reviews. Its the Epson Powerlite 1080p. Unfortunately in Canada it sells for about $6,000 but I imported it from a dealer in Hong Kong that carries 2 year international warranty, it cost about 4,000 delivered with duties applied. Its very future proof has it is HDMI 1.3 capable. I would think it could be had in Pakistan for much cheaper than what I paid for it.
The hardest part was running the wires through and behind walls to get a pro-like look. Components that are hooked up to it:
Receiver: Denon AVR-2805
Remote: Logitech Harmony 880
Home Theater PC (for upscaling DVD's and downloaded HD-DVDs, surfing the internet, playing PC games, video is set to the native resolution of the PJ, 1920x1080 at 60hz)
PS3 with 1.80 firmware
Scientific Atlanta 3250HD (for high definition TV in mostly 1080i)
HM-501 5-PORT HDMI SWITCH w/ remote control
