There must be some reason for these high pressures.But still it's dangerous.
Maintenance from Honda is good untill they ask for huge amounts.

I think at factory delivery, tire pressure is deliberately kept high to cater for any leakages during transit to dealer and finally to the customer.

Seems logical,but if this is the reason for higher presures then its a huge mistake on dealers end by not lowering it at the time of delivery.

If you ask me, car manufacturers, car part vendors, car dealerships and others associated with cars are just doing jobs for salary. None of the aforementioned are car enthusiasts or car lovers. So things like car appearances, tyre pressure etc are low low on their list of priorities.

Tyre pressure is kept high to make the tyres get in proper shape. I read somewhere that new tyres need to be run under high pressure for some kilometres.

Tire pressure is a matter of safety,but in Pakistan no one gives a damn about safety and quality control is nowhere to be found.

It had 20-22 in each tyre

First inspection

Got 1000 km/1 month inspection done today.ODO meter reading was 656 at time of inspection

•Raised the car and tightened all the nuts and bolts.
•Checked engine oil level
•Checked waher fluid
•Looked at the coolant level
•Checked lights and wipers
•Checked Engine air filter
Thats it.

I would like to add that the air filter is not a dry filter it has oil in it and so they didn't blow air on the filter.Coolant level is b/w max and min marks and they said it is fine.

And then I made them check tire pressures.And to my amazement front tires were at 43 PSI and rear were at 40 PSI .lowered to 32 front and 30 back acc to manual.I asked the person for the reason and he said "tire shape mai ajata hai" and not yet satisfied with this answer.

Corolla has the dull white color. Ugliest color imo. Tafetta white is even a lil brighter then super white

Well initially it was showing an average of approx 12 km/lNow it is 13.8 and sometimes lesser.
At 100,110 it is showing 18-20 km/l
Havent manually calculated yet.

It is pretty bad in first thousand kms. I was scared initially by the consumption but now it is constant at 14-15 in city.

Both manual. 13.8 is amazing for an auto.

Mate, does honda city has steering lock. I got one delivered few days back too. It doesn't seem to lock the steering so wondering if even has steering lock or not.

Oh,then why is my car showing such a good average? Current ODO reading is 664 Kms
