Few days ago I decided to buy a new 125 classic. Previously I was using 125 dream 2017. I went to a local dealer and booked one. Today I got a call, so I went and received bike.
After I took bike out and drove, I observed handle was bent at a side when I was going straight. I went back. They moved handle to front and said all good. I tried and it was same. Guy took and came back. He obviously hit front with wall or something to bend it back to straight. Anyway it worked.
About quality, handle switchs, meter and chain cover r pathetic in this model. Worse than Chinese bikes.
Rear makes thak noise on bumps and front makes nosie of loose metal patri. Maybe sound of sprins in shocks on bumps.
Kick was touching silencer garnish. Guy fixed with hathora on a 0 meter bike.
Bike did not start after adding petrol. Had to kick 40-50 times and use choke.
These things made me feel very bad.
Anyway I brought bike home. Family and friends likes it. They told me not to worry. Paint quality is good. In this model rear shocks are soft. Seat is also soft. Tank graphics r good. Beautiful sound and paint quality and chrome. Mudguards are of thinner metal sheet.
I have decided to keep using it instead of getting new bike open for repairs and replacements as doing it will damage lot of other parts and later change things after a year or two. Front makes sqeak sound when I apply brake.
In my previous bike Honda 125 Dream 2017 I also had gotten several problems as well. That bike was also purchased new.
It is painful that Honda is increasing price every few months. And there r such problems in new bikes still. I got Honda because some of my friends got Yamaha and they faced problems in 1-2 years. I got Honda to get a reliable and time tested bike that will last longer and give me driving pleasure for city driving. But i was wrong to expect this from AHL. Friends told me that these problems are minor and I should not worry so I better feel happy for my new purchase. They are right maybe. I will update this thread later. Now time to buy sweets and celebrate.
