Go to thier website (http://www.deepseaplc.com/products/dse-genset/auto-start-controllers/2/release_date/desc/)
First of all register an account (Free).
Select your controller model from there. I am guessing it would be DSE 6010 Auto Start Control Module.
Download the PC software for this device and hook it up with the module. It connects by a simple USB cable......the one usually used with USB printers. The software will dowload the updates (Firmware etc) from the server after which you can update the Device firmware from that software. Its not that difficult at all but I recomend to first go through thier Software dicumentation cause its a bit different from the usual stuff. Software Documentation is also available in the downloads section.
You can configure a lot of parameters of the controller through the PC software such as Start up time, Start up delay, service schedule, cooling time, shut off time etc etc. I am guessing that your sensors that came with the generator have no issues. Infact there are a lot of options for different sensors in the software.......You have to choose the correct one for it to work. Pana guys randomnly put various sensors in your genset and the one that was picked up by the module went successful.......lolzzzz. Well thats only my guess. You have to asses it yourself
I now personally feel that PANA guys run this module on thier factory settings and dont know much about the sensors and module settings stuff.
Anyways, You'll get a call within 1 day from the official distributor of Deep sea controller in Islamabad as soon as you register with the above mentioned website, so please give correct address and cell no. The guy that calls offers to come over and help you in any regards (sensors, firmware update). Have a chat with him, call him over a cup of coffee if you dont want to mess with things yourself.
His name is Mr. Yousaf and cell no. is 03334561619 in case you decide to call yourself
As I want to fiddle with things myself, so I actually did all this by my self (not that difficult). The improvements I am experienceing and noticed so far are that the temp has started showing up in real time, fixed the problem when sometimes amp didnt show up, the software on the module has gained some speed and fluency, a few extra sensor options have been incorporated etc.
I would suggest you to call the Deep Sea guy as this you would not like to mess with some official belonging
Ps: There is a guy (Technition/Installer) who is really expert and the best. His name is ATEEB. I guess they send him to only personal consumers :). Tell Khalid to send him over. I am pretty confident he will sort out all your problems less the firmware update. Sorry for not mentioning his name before cause I couldnt recall his name.
