How much is your car driven and what was its price. I am also using a japanese car , Its Daihatsu Sonica 660 cc turbo.
It was 35000 km driven when i bought it in December 2012, current mileage 38500 km
Mileage in city 10-14 km-pl and on highway 18-19 km-pl

Which oil do you use , i will be using Liqui Moly MoS2 10W40 for next oil change will post how it performs

Sonica is a turbo car so its fuel efficency would not be same as mira I am getting an average of 17 kmpl in city now a days when I bought it car was driven around 31100km

I know turbo-cars are less fuel efficient than their non-turbo counterparts, but i bought it out of 3 cars :
1. Daihatsu Esse
2. Daihatsu Mira Gino
3. Daihatsu Sonica
Because i tested with 4 people(total weight 250 kg) including myself, it gave better pickup and felt lightest when i accelerated it from 0-100 kph.
Also it looked better to me

I thought this would be better because it is on recommended range, also this is MoS2 oil, so might give a tad bit better mileage

Sp here is the first fuel test report

Tank filled up till top fuel came in was 31 liters (a bit less than that )

Car was droved in heavey traffic with 60% heavey foot and no hyper milling at all

It droved almost 240kms and needle came exact at half of the tank

So the millege was 15.5 kmpl with an average of 4 passengers on board

nice update
currently my car is doing close to 19 km-pl, however i drive at max speed of 80 kph and with light to semi aggressive driving style
my daily route to uni is 30 km and there are two people in car when going and about 6 people which i drop off 5 km from uni on the way back

1.remove yellow sticker from the back
2.remove the steering cover

Good to know we have something in common.
Bro with average foot it gives me around 17-18 km-pl and when i try hypermiling i can get between 20-23 km-pl depending on traffic
what is your best average

LM 10W40 MoS2 oil results(after driving 500 km) :
1. Better engine feel
2. Tad bit better mileage
3. Peace of mind (knowing this is 2nd best LM product for tough Pakistani conditions)
No 1 LM oil i think is Molygen 5W40 because it is best for all weather conditions

Mileage improved on daily 30 km uni route, increased from 19 to 21 km-pl. Conditions in which mileage was achieved
1. This average is result of everyday light foot driving.
2. Tyre air pressure 32 psi front and 40 psi back.
3. Air filter cleaned with air blower every week.
4. Regular petrol(no fuel additives).

I bought this because of MoS2 additive because it results in improved mileage as it forms a fine film on the engine components and reduces resistance and wear and tear
