I have been hearing a knocking sound as my ride shifts the gear specially when it shifts to 2nd and 3rd. as if engine looses the grip.
What could be the problem?

You mean the engine is knocking? Simple. Put more high octane in it. I think the problem is due to bad quality fuel. If the problem is not solved with more high octane then it requires further inspection.

As far as mileage is concerned :(, i think it has decreased.... have travelled more than 190kms since the last refill and the tank is already half empty:o, last time i covered 490kms before the tank was empty, this time i guess it will go to 400kms with ac on and off, not sure right now, shall update you within next 10 days.

Have you changed the fuel station in the last time refill? Your engine is knocking and you are getting bad mileage. There is a good chance that you have bad quality fuel in your tank.

These tires cannot put the difference of more then 0.1 Km/L which will mean maximum 20-30 Kms difference overall.

Sir wasay I am against this rotalla thing but main bola es lyaie nahi kah ab dalwa lyaie hain to kia ho sakta hay. The china stuff gets more wear and tear and there is a good change that it will become difficult to balance such stuff.

Are you sure balancing was properly done when you put them in?

Sir there is another thing. You would be utilizing A/C far more from your last fill. Kia khyal hay? That will too affect the mileage.

Anyways. Lets see when your tank gets empty to kia hota hay. At least two or three tanks kay baad hi proper mileage ka pata lagta hay.

In summary, Keep three things in mind:
1) The Fuel quality.
2) A/C usage.
3) Balancing.

Yes you are right about the Rotalla tires, they are not very famous, i shall get rid of them after 40,000kms
Balancing was not properly done due to power failure.
i think fuel quality is fine.
Have asked about the engine knocking, the toyota person suggested me that i should bring my ride to them, they will attach it with some computer and adjust the fuel and then the knocking sound will go away.

best fuel pump is attock petrolium
once o put 5000pterol in my mark x froma attock it gives
more than 900+km
and then 5k petrol from shell it gives 800+ :-!
i think shell petrol pump doing sm fraud in their petrol

So I thought I will put back it's genuine player and sell the navigation operated player separately, at the time of resale. So main nay adjust kerwaya hi nahi.

Sir yesterday I got refilled. The ride was driven 520 Kms and the petrol which got filled was 32 Liters. So, the mileage was 520/33 = 15.75 Km/L.

What I did was I changed my fuel from Shell to Caltex. The results are very good. On Shell my ride was giving around 14.2 Km/L. This is even better. Almost 16 Km/L!! Wow
