As for the other one, it's a 08, also had the option of buying it but wasn't too keen on the FIAT color scheme.

Just sold my 05 R6 and bought this brand new 2009 one. Never used or registered in the states, was bought from Yamaha U.S.A and imported straight to Pakistan.

Really loving this baby! It's much easier to ride than the older model as it's lighter and has sharper handling. You just think about taking a corner and it's there and boy does it rip! I love the way the intake howls, it turns into a demon after 8000rpm. Plus it has a much needed slipper clutch which was missing in the previous one.

Man!! This is awesomeness! Great ride MashaAllah! With great condition! This bike is love! And im sure you are gonna enjoy every sec of it! If i would have that much saving, i will be going for this baby right away! The project is in pipeline at the moment! I was never a bike lover, but just started riding a couple of months ago! And im seriously looking forward to get one R6 soon, if things remain handy and responsive!

Thanks bro! I always loved bikes but didn't start riding until just a year ago. Started with a gs500 and once I got the hang of it I got a 05 r6.

Now I'm really addicted and am already planning my next upgrade!

I also used to love R1's but don't really dig the shape of the 09+ models. They've gone for the minimalistic approach by taking off almost all of the fairing and exposing the engine. Not my cup of tea.

If i ever upgrade to a liter bike i'd probably go for the gixxer.

Well guys I owned an R1 2010 model for just 2 weeks... didnt like the sound of the bike.. crossplane engine was also not my cup of tea.. but the bike runs fast in low rpm's.. but after all... sound and ride matters...... That was the reason I had to move to Kawasaki Zx 10R....

I'm considering a R6 or Cbr RR, but I've been wanting to import a dual sport yamaha, but damn you get stung on customs.

There's no comparison your 10R is much more sexier than the R1.

Duties are now fixed at $5.25 per cc, so if you have a contact it wouldn't be a bad idea to import your own bike. You can easily save 1-1.5 lacs. I couldn't be bothered to wait a couple of months so just bought one here.

beautiful bike, i remember when i saw one in england in 2007, loved the R6 ever since, am glad you posted a pic of the speedometer when lit up , was going to ask you to do that.. anyways enjoy and be careful of the random cars pulling out of streets, random lane switching, and what not , im sure you know... Good luck

Thanks bro, you're absolutely right about watching out for random cars, bikers are often invisible to most people in cars. Had a close call yesterday when someone took a u-turn without watching and i swerved just in time otherwise i was a goner. You have to be very careful at intersections and u-turns etc.
