bro the problem was with the shooting settings or the processing i mean do i need to change it to raw and process the images?

settings seemed fine.. if you use Auto (without flash) then its okay and if you use the M,P,A,S mode then use A mode and keep the aperture the highest (smallest f-number)

No need for RAW my brother. JPEG does the job good enough, All the picture you see here were taken in JPEG. I use RAW for serious paid professional shoots. Use JPEG

I would say that you need to process them properly via a good software like Adobe Lightroom. I highly suggest using that software only and watching some tutorials via YouTube. That would help you learn the basic and polish your skills even more.

I had the same question when i was planning to get a bigger lens but then I resorted to selling the kit lens and getting the Nikon's 18-105. I would suggest you forward this query to @vcheng, who has this lens and will be able to guide u in a better way

The Sigma 18-200 is not as sharp as the Nikon 18-105 or the Nikon 18-200, but it is still a very good lens for general use, with a good reach, and reasonably good performance. It is pretty light and short, and therefore very nice to use as a walkabout all around lens.

Now when you have sufficient funds, upgrade the body Get the D7000/D7100 rather than the 70-300mm. That's what I would prefer.
How much did the Tamron cost btw?

ok i need a suggestion too.,, my budget is somewhere around 30k, which lens should i opt for
i have these suggestions in mind,
nikon 50mm 1.8g or 35mm 1.8g or tamron 17-50mm f2.8g non vc

@nomiko bro depends what u want from the lens.look 50mm will give an excellent result in portraits but u dont have any zoom on the other hand tamron is constant 2.8 from 17-50 and gives a v fine result u cant compre its result with 50mm 1.8g but its pretty good,so if u need an overall lens get tamron else buy 50mm and keep ur kit lens and buy tamron in the future like i did.rest let senior members to comment iam new like u in all this

I don't need a portrait lens really, I need an indoor lens that's why 1.8g , so m gonna go and buy the 50mm first and then go to something higher,,, merey job lagney do phir nikon 70-200 f2.8 loon ga hahaha, abhi 50mm theek rahey ga

if u need it for indoor buy tamron it would be more useful @madhouse12 bro told me this thing way back but bought a 50mm 1.8g and after buying a tamron i realized it that he was v right tamron is practically much more useful then my 50mm i just put on my 50mm when i need to hve some portraits etc but with tamron i can almost do all the things even portraits too so my 2 cents tamron,let a senior member come and comment iam a newbie like u too
