add some damping inside cabinet also, yr listening envoironment is smaller than the amount of low frequency sound its getting. reduce bass frequencies to lower Hz, this is will also reduce decibels.. cotton and some soft material stuffed inbetween hard materials will help

better to live with less bass than to hear rattles.

Yes m planning to do it over the weekend. It doesn't rattle all the time, only on certain frequencies when i feel vibrations. For now i've adjusted bass so that there is minimal rattling.

Sir alot of people also dampen the rear parcel shelf but i guess thts not needed unless u r left with some sheets. If im not wrong, u have installed the coaxial focals in the rear doors not rear parcel right?

Usually the rear shelf plastic panel sits on a metal sheet. If u remove it and measure and get synthetic carpet underlay, cut it a little more than the size of plastic panel and fit it back tight. This way it rests on the underlay rather than metal. U could only do the boundries of the panel but tht would require sticking. lot of cutting and time.

U would then just need a pair of scissors to cut underlay at any factory speaker holes or any hole u made to let the bass enter the cabin. That u would access from the boot.

Do not use foam anywhere, as it absorbs moisture and causes rust.

Plastic rear parcel with MDF one is also an option but would spoil looks if the factory rear parcel is nice looking.
