Bro can you please tell me the exact amount of engine oil capacity of 5efe? i am asking this because recently i swapped this engine in my 98 corolla.. some says its 3.5LTR, while some says its 3LTR.. Even after putting 3 ltr (with filter) the gauge stick still showing more then maximum level..

I must say. this engine got got power & economical too..

@ 7650 bro this is not a G100 digital meter its not even a charade meter . this is the meter of toyota .and its altered to fit in charade.

@ aliusman2 and karakoram brother the cost on this car is 450 in term of money . apaprt from that i have spend a lot of effort and time to get the car in such shape. i have been offered 410-420k in the same thread. my demand for this ride is 425,000 but REALISTIC offers are welcome. U never know what can happen:)

@ZEBNO yeah the engine surely has got power and economy side by side even on CNG my car reaches up to 75-80 in second gear

as for oil it is 3.5 liter for sure . now there can be 2 problems
one ur oil dip stick is not of 5efe or second problem is that the oil chamber which is on the lower side of engine is changed and not of 5efe

i just bought a charade of same model and color.. i m rebuilding it i need suggestion regarding the engine swap. can u tell me the cost of 4efe engine and 5efe and installation cost ?

bro the cost is almost same both for 4EFE and 5EFE even though 5EFE is 1500 and 4EFE is 1300
but i wont recommend u to start ur project as yet bz all the trading route with afghanistan is closed . even torkham border is closed so all cars part no matter body or engine are quiet high piced
hopefully in next couple of weeks the route will open then the prices will go down even more then epected as there will be quiet a stock pilled up on the other side

@atifch81 its a nice engine but part avaialbility is a problem . if u need any engine part of 4EFE or 5EFE thay are wastly avaialble where as charades orginal 1300 cc engine parts are less in number in market so that is a draw back
and the price will also be nearly same for both engies .
but as i said dont do it now .even diahtasu engine prices will be higher these days

i m waiting for afgan border open for trade. yesterday the agreement was singed by forigen minister and hopfuly it ll open soon now. As it ll open more engines ll be available on half of the current price. my denter is taking 10 days and after that paint job so i have some time to wait.
