My Seller refuse to give me bio matric, what should i do?

Hi, I bought a Lahore number move in august 2021. I did not transfer the vehicle in my name. Now I want to transfer this vehicle in my name. currently, the car is in the company name and the company manager is not responding properly. My questions are:

1- I have company letterhead for transfer, do I still need the bio matric of any representative?
2- What action should I take if they keep on refusing the transfer?

what kind of assumptions you are having??

biometric verification is required incase of individual ownership only.

does company letterhead mention your name & cnic, readable signatures an stamp with no objections to transfer of vehicle. Is there any time frame mentioned i.e .. the letter is valid for xxpxxpxx date ?? or is it a letter with open validity .

visit your nearest excise office apply for transfer pay applicable taxes and it will take place. incase there is an objection look for an agent outside excise office to get it sorted.

The company must have an organization login where they can assign individual as representative. That representative can do bio verification on behalf of the company and your transfer would go through. So the questions are, is this your company that you work in? Do they have excise organization login? Is the guy you are in contact with an authorized representative? If none of the above, go to an excise office and figure out your options.

1. You need biometric of representative, for that
   i. the company owner / partners / CEO need to register at organization registration link on punjab excise website,

ii. submit an application for registration on company letterhead to excise office to get their login working
iii. then assign a person as a representative.
iv. The biometric of that person from any Nadra e-sahulat center will then work.

1. Action you can take? You should consult a lawyer but first you should try to explain the process steps to that manager, maybe he thinks biometric isn't needed for car under company ownership.

try not to complicate things for yourself. by asking them to this & do that.

Please visit the company office with relevant documents and give them an option . Transfer the vehicle in my name (for which I will pay the charges) or take the vehicle back at present market value.

i believe it is lesson for everyone who act clever using open letter vehicles without transfer to hoodwink next buyer or the FBR. [ it is a crime to use a vehicle which is not under your name or a family member be a wife or someone kin / sibling ]

I second this.

For my 2-3 vehicles which I sold, buyers commit they will transfer the vehicle but despite passing couple of years they didn't. I have approached them for the same purpose they didn't respond well.

Now as bio matric become mandatory, I am expecting them to contact for it.

Kindly share your thoughts what shall I can do in this situation as they played their part, now after compulsion
they will contact for bio matric?

if the buyer is same as who actually bought it from you and signed the papers / delivery order / sale receipt, you shall not hesitate to help. But if there is somebody else, you have legal reason to decline and request him to contact the seller, which is not you.

Immediately contact at Company address, better to visit and discuss with HR department first, then talk with Transport or Logistics who is looking after it

I buy bike front 2nd party i have seller recipt where he did his fingerprint stamp and sign the recipt that he sell me the bike in which its clearly mention he is responsible to give me biomatric while until now its been 5 month he still not able to avail me biomatric. What action i can make i have all papers n card with me. But still on i havnt get biomatric what will i do now. I m unable to sell bike.

It was your mistake why did you pay full amount before Legal biometric transfer.

You should stop 50% payment at that time by making payorder that he could verify the genuine-Ness and handover to him at the time of biometric transfer.

There is no value of that card and papers which you have as legally bike is on his name and he can claim anytime that he had lost those etc. Allah na karey Lekin Jo 5 months se transfer taal raha hay, us kee harkat par kiya comment kiya jaye?

Main point is driving or owning 5 months on open letter was not the wise decision and even no one can write any term in agreement which is against the law like he will be liable to transfer biometric even after 6 months, such clauses which are against the law has no legal value.

Anyways, try to solve it calmly with him first and even if he is not agree after this then hire a lawyer and send him legal notice and proceed case through courts

Yar i bought this Vezel which is on Companys Name..company be koi bari nai hai just property dealer hain bahria Town lahore ke..unho ne apni company jo ke sole proprietor hain he is helping me...he has registered himself on excise login which also has been approved by excise and furthermore he has added hinself as a binetric representative fornthe car...but the issue is when he goes to do the biometric at e-sahulat centre...it says ID card not registered...kindly advise what could be the issue?
