Yes bro. I'm willing to spend money. Its just that I don't want to waste my hard earned money by giving it away to every tom, dick and harry. I know i need to give lawyer fees to cancel the superdaari and mithai to police once I get my vehicle. I'm also ready to pay the police officals but I need to see progress on work done by them.

It was not an insured vehicle. At one time I considered it a total loss but Allah Almighty have showed mercy and now I have the pinpoint location of my car and complete details of the criminal.

The Excise people have removed the car information from MTMIS online database. I went to excise office and asked them to update online records or provide me the current status of the vehicle. They are insisting me to pay outstanding tokens from 2013 to 2020. I told them that the car was not under my use since it was stolen in 2012 and I will pay once I get my vehicle back. However, I do have a letter from Excise that revoked his ownership. Maybe this will get the job done. Hoping for the best!

The car is still under the use of the accused. His lawyer took it on 5 lac superdaari since they had all the documents.

I have high hopes that I will get my vehicle back iA.. I will go to CPLC office and take it from there.

sir your solution is already stated. as negotiating start point price of 500,000.
base your argument upon car stolen used abused, still interested to take it at reasonable amount. point 2 to negotiate the amount is that after car is officially recovered you have to spend another sum to sort out paper work with police court & excise.

i can safely say if you negotiate correctly with the party having the vehicle approx 150 - 200,000 will be sufficient to get the car in your custody.

I wouldn’t call current owner thief/bad, he is as a victim as you are.
Imagine finding your car is stolen and then to save your money you spend few bucks.

When stolen car is recovered by police its handed over to person who proves ownership, so which they did with original file.

May Allah help you recover the car. I agree with everyone for posting the complaint on citizen portal though i have no personal experience but people near me have been relieved. Hopefully it will work and things with police will straighten up insha Allah

The Punjab police was giving us a runaround and told us the superior officer want's to meet you directly. So I went to the CCPO office and asked for the permission letter from the officer myself. He got afraid and told the IO that I won't give any suggestion as he was suspecting that I will file a complaint against him If he asked for money. That officer started scolding the IO that you should not have bring them face to face. I won't say anything or help you in any way. The IO started apologizing to us that I'll have the permission letter made within a week. For now use your contacts and try to get the vehicle and the criminal behind bars.

Actually. I will not take my case back and fight it till the very end till other party compensate me for my loses. I've spent 8 years searching for my car.

We actually deserve to get compensated for all the runarounds and difficulties that we had to go through. I will take an estimated evaluation after reviewing the current condition/wear and tear on the car.

Well, the current owner should have checked the title/status of the car before purchasing.

Buying stolen goods is also a criminal offense. The car is still (reported stolen 381A) from 2012 up till now that is 2020 as per CIA records with outstanding FIR.

I have held accountable the police station that gave the car away on suprdaari as It was suppose to be handed over to the police station where the original FIR was registered.

The police station is now in the process of investigation to recover the vehicle and the person who was involved in theft and fraud.

We were the second owner of the car, It was transferred on our name in 2003. According to Excise records this vehicle was directly transferred to this person from the first owner.

The Excise agent's who were involved in transfer of this vehicle should be held responsible for this act.

Up till now all the police investigation and efforts to close this case have been done by us.

Police should intervene and arrest the people who were involved in buying/selling and Excise agents who were involved in transfer and dealing of our vehicle.

The citizen portal have been very helpful so far otherwise I would have to pay every tom, dick and harry along the way to get the simplest of the work done to retrieve the vehicle from the criminal.

The complaint was handed over to DIG

DIG forwarded it to RPO.

RPO sent it to DPO

DPO assigned it to DCO and IO to apprehend the criminal and car.

Now I am waiting patiently till I receive a call from the police station
