well i like black and white both and which one i like most keeps changing... i had Civic 8th gen in black and then 9th gen also black... but later I wanted white so without any second thought i opted for Superwhite Grande....

Did you have the option of partial payment? I heard that Indus was accepting partial payment in the early days of the launch.

Also when you made the booking, were you told 3 months, but with a little extra you can have it earlier!

Thanks dear... Partial payment option is available from beginning and the amount is 5 lac for all variants.. I booked mine in October and was offered December delivery but i opted for January 2015 myself.. You dont need to pay any extra amount and it is a misconception that full payment bookings have early deliveries...

Honda will also have to allow partial payment booking once it launches a new model now.. i have also heard that Govt is going to make it mandatory for all local assemblers

Recently drove both Grande and New Civic.Here are experiences of both:

Civic: Civic has become what 10th gen corolla was.Lifeless soft steering,soft suspension though not as much as grande,Less grip and crap navigation unit,Prosmatic now feels outdated after driving CVTI.Civic had got floaty feeling like previous corollas.

Grande:Balance between comfort and grip was very good.Steering feedback was better than civic.Suspension is very very soft.Brakes were good intact found them better than civic.Navigation unit is very good.Grande had better smooth transmission feeling due to CVTI.Car feels well planted on the road.

Both cars were driven with eurostars.

But found them both of no match for 8th Gen Civic which has excellent steering feedback and grip.
