Saad you are correct indeed. But my point is, both are family sedans. Civic brakes were WOW in 8th generation. As they literally jammed the car.
9th gen has now moved to softer suspension after some tweaks by honda and has lost the feel n charm of the civic line. So the brakes in both are good keeping in view the usage aspect. Both are equally good, SJ complained of vibration etc in his car which is totally abnormal. No such issue in my car, I slammed the brakes above 160kph on kashmir highway and even the ABS didn't kick in. Steering vibration is always related to tires and wheel allignment.
Altis this time has excellent grip and handling despite the increased rear height. No issues for me, if I would prefer a civic over this car merely for brakes and handling, it would be an 8th gen. 9th gen is just gup shup from Honda badged as civic.
