those are amazing results if one more GD TZB bro's GD does same
it will prove & give us an strong idea about actual top speed of GD110

and i guess that is the secret you touched 110km/h on your GD
saying this again its very good to know you touched 110km/h
my pridor had went max to around 100km/h when i had given my pridor to my cousin his weight exactly same is yours

and not to forget with pillion you managed to go 100+ which is excellent achievement by GD110

I just love the word "Suzuki" inscribed in the muffler. It gives a sense of originality and more importantly, branding.

So guys, tomorrow Insha Allah I am going for first maintenance check of my Suzuki GD 110. I have below areas in mind to be inspected:

• Drive-chain tension
• Engine's idle speed
• Fuel/air mixture
• Valve clearance
• Clutch cable has "play" which I want to be removed
• Of course, oil and oil flter replacement
• Air cleaner element's cleaning
• Battery electrolyte
• Chassis nut and bolts

Please suggest if I missed out anything or you feel should be added in check-list of first tuning of a new bike.

I've tried first tuning from BJ Motors at Queens Road Lahore
I am very much satisfied with their mechanics and specially workshop supervisor Mr.Yasir
Supervisor answered all my queries with proper justified answers and guided me very well

Good to hear about your experience. The workshop supervisor at Empress Suzuki is also a nice person who patiently and eagerly answered all my queries when I went to him before Eid to discuss seat and fender issue. He did not quite agree to the discomfort GD's seat causes, but he did agree to the fender issue and said he will bring this matter to the attention of higher-ups in their next meeting.

What was the total expense of oil and filter replacement? What points you would recommend me to keep in mind when I go for tuning?

Moreover, asked about installation of Self Starter
Their senior mechanic tell me estimated cost of 10K to 12K

Changed first oil at 400KM (paid Rs.450)
At first tuning he told me to change second oil & oil filter at 1200KM

Got the first maintenance service completed on my GD today. Following were inspected and adjusted/cleaned/replaced:

• Drive chain tension
• Engine idle speed
• Clutch cable
• Fuel/air mixture
• Front sprocket bay
• Engine oil
• Air cleaner element

Surprisingly, the mechanic suggested to change engine oil filter on next tuning. So I only got engine oil replaced today.

SGO (Suzuki Genuine Oil) is manufactured by Total. I have never used engine oil from Total, but let's see how well it does. By the way I do not see any significant improvement in bike's sound after engine oil change. Perhaps it would be evident after the bike is driven for a few kilometers; however, when I used to put Havoline in my Honda CD 100, the effects were immediately audible. Let's see.

Finally I am freed from the speed-limit restrictions. I am going to push this beauty beyond 40 km/h now (H)

By the way, my GD ran into reserve yesterday and I calculated the mileage this time to be 51 km/L.

Yeah, finally I have the liberty to to do vroom vroom vroooooooooom...

No, he didn't adjust tappets. They sound to be okay.

I cannot tell who is better, but I am quite satisfied with the maintenance performed. Honda mechanics also satisfy the customer quite well. However, I would say Honda mechanics are friendly whereas Suzuki mechanics keep distance from customers. Suzuki mechanics do not appreciate customer standing nearby the workshop area; they have a poor attitude. On the contrary, guys at Honda never mind answering customer queries and allowing them to witness the maintenance process.
