Some upgrades on the car.

Installed back fog light...... i bought it from shops near garden. it is cheap and its Chinese

as mentioned few post above, i was planning to install ashtrays in doors, so did that also. the door cards have originally space available for ashtrays so painted it matt black and its a prefect fit.

Also bought an aftermarket tacho meter. Got it mounted on the right side of the speedo meter bezel.
It wirks good and has setting for cars having 3,4,6,8 cylinders.

the next is the front fog lights and the speaker board DIY....

I always hated Mehran and never chose to buy one even when my range used to be around 100 - 110k PKR, Was one of the guys who won't leave any chance of mocking the car at any platform.

But due to some circumstances (CNG queues and no time for regular vehicle maintenance due to my Job and Masters going on) in Feb 2013 I purchased a brand new Mehran Euro 2 and then in May 2013 I received another Mehran Euro 2 from my office. After keeping these cars I understood that Mehran is something that has really no substitute in the market. When purchased new, car remains soundless for 2 - 3 years (if taken care), car is reliable with no issues, parts are cheap (specially the regular maintenance ones) and at the end of the day excellent resale.

Following are the pictures of our personal Mehru which was purchased in Feb 2013 and Sold Sep/Oct 2017 with nearly 76,000 Kms driven. These pictures were taken to upload with the ad on Pakwheels.

To have a good sound system without compromising the luggage capacity of the car, I installed a removable wooden speaker box custom made for the car. Whenever I needed the car to haul luggage, would remove the speaker box and leave it at home.

I bought a 2002 Mehran back in 2010 and used it for more than 4 yrs. It served me really well, I must say.

We had 91 mehran, owned/driven for 26yrs....so many memories with it....drove only on petrol a total 180k kms

It was on original paint all round, original wrking wipers, orig side mouldings, orig dash....bumpers had faded to light grey, so replaced em with orig shape ones (hard to find in 2008)......some fender benders happened....rear leaf springs changed 3 times (because the left ones always broke).....never stalled in deep rain waters

Cars with this much sentimental value shouldn't be sold, they should be restored for serving us well.

Unfortunately neither me nor my father had cars knowledge untill a stupid mechanic put the car for a gradual death by direct fan and no thermo.....with continuous heat ups and stupid mechs i had had enuf coz it was effing up my office timings....sold it to get old mira auto.....i really i wish i had joined PW before all that happend....
