@lodhi7 What about cruise control, is it true that it doesn't go past 100km/h with cruise control ?
Wat?? No that is not true! I have driven it on 140 on cruise control.
That's interesting. Here's what it says on Pak Suzuki's website:
The vehicle maintains any speed between 45-100KM/h set by pressing the switch so the driver does not have to keep on pressing the accelerator pedal to travel at a constant speed
I donāt know who is writing such stuff! You can set the cruise control well over 100kph
awesome, thanks for the reply.
Also, do you know if this car is indeed assembled in Hungary and is just brought in by Pak Suzuki as a CBU (Completely Built Unit), which basically makes it an "imported" car with same quality standards as in the EU ?
Yes absolutely! Itās made in Hungary and CBU imported from Hungary.....and it has all the European standards and you can feel that once you sit in this car and drive it
I have a few questions:1. Does the passenger side door have smart entry like the Civic?2. Navigation unit has google maps or some other software? or no navigation at all?3. At a speed of 20 KM does the car auto lock the doors. Pretty sure thats normal right?4. When in reverse - do the mirrors fold in like Altis Grande?5. Similarly when you park the car do the mirrors fold in ?6. Does it have a quick 3 light indicator touch like the civic? which means if you just touch the indicitaor it just goes on for 3 lights before auto-turning off (useful for changing lanes)7. Electronic trunk release or manual button?8. From the drivers seat are the controls for the other 3 windows auto? what about the passenger side?
I am comparing the Altis Garnde vs Civic vs Vitara and couldnt find these answers.
Best idea would be to visit showroom. However, Vitara is one of the best card available in Pakistan. It's clearly better than grande and civic in features and safety. Engine is the only bad thing due to M16, plus SUZUKI branding which hurt its sales.Awesome car otherwise.
Answering your questions as per the numbering:-1. Yes it has smart entry.2. Navigation has google maps and Sygic voice guided turn by turn navigation 3. Yes it does4. No I am not sure 5. No! You have to press the button to fold them.6. It does7.Manual8. Yes auto!In addition to these it also has fol as well:-1. Double sunroof.2. Dedicated roof lights in rear and front.3. Parking sensors 4. Auto levelling headlights5. Terrain selector / all grip 4WD6. Paddle shifters7. Full manual gearshift option8. Cruise control and limiter9. 7 airbags10. Hill decent11. Traction control13. Hill hold14. Fully protected / shielded underbelly 15. Lot many other small goodies like rain sensing vipers etc etcI have taken this car on extreme climbs and it performed just like a champ.....civic and grandeās could just watch and admire... similarly in snow it drives like a pro and again civic and grande or for that matter other 4WD local cars can only watch and appreciate. To be honest itās a true all rounder MA!
Wats the fuel average of vitara ?? City n long route ??
In city it ranges between 9-10 and on long routes 13-14 depending on the way we drive
