My father is a senior citizen and the only thing in the car they use is radio and that too get no signals. the dealership is not anymore entertaining our request by saying this is fault in all ALPINE infotainment units and not replacing it with new one.

i just wrote an email to indus, lets see the indus motor replaces or not

I replaced the old system 2 times and lastly the andriod but the lastest andriod system is even wrose than old WinCe. It freezes many times and is also not user friendly.

Totally I used 4 system in one year.

Which is your dealership?

I replaced my unit as i got car in the last days of Sep and new unit was installed from 1st Oct. I contacted Alpine gys, Automate industries private limited.

Contact details are on the manual which IMC provides at the time of delivery.

I gave my 3 days old unit and got android one, and it don't have any problem considering 1gb ram. Youtube works fine, which i normally use.

hello, my dealership is giving me hard time replacing my multimedia unit. can you please mention complete name of your faisalabad dealership along with this person name who you met there to get it replaced.

my dealership and toyota is saying that they have not done this anywhere in pakistan.....waiting for your quick reply.

Hey , I went to Toyota lyallpur motors and after checking some usbs they issued the claim and called me on Saturday to claim my new unit. Which dealership you are went to?

Basically my car is facelift may 2018 1.6 altis. it has alpine unit. i have got it replaced 3 times but radio still does not work. they later introduced android unit in the same car in september. i am fighting with them that all their alpine units have radio problem so issue me the new android unit coming with existing 1.6 Altis.

if the above is the same case as yours please give me name of toyota layallpur motors person facilitating you so i can quote his name and get it exchanged as currently toyota is bluntly lying to me.

You you getting ALPINE (Windows based horrible unit) replaced with new android (1.6 altis unit)??

Actually Toyota does not listen for any radio problem. My unit is claimed for USB problem. I also talked them for radio problem but all the channels were playing good at the dealership so I couldn't do anything. I don't know the name of the person.

i have not even tried the USB with this car ill try that too.

Please if you can, once you get this resolved do share the name of the person doing this for you. i want Toyota to be sorry for lying to me on my face again and again.

I just installed cruise control stick jn my altis.. but its not working i dont know why... even there is no light option in meter i checked it with flash light

brother in Altis 1.6 there is no connection from steering wheel to ECU for cruise control in models above 2016.

Is there any solution!! Can we do it manually by giving a circuit connection from sterring to ecu!! Or still there will be something missing!!

yes you can manually install a wire from Steering column to ECU.A good electrician will do the job for you.
