I don't think so..BTW warranty doesn't matter as the dealership do not consider our problem most of the time. On the other hand I had light modifications in my 1.6 FL and the electrical warranty was voided, still they changed my problematic Headunit. They didn't saw that.

I just met with the owner personally today. He has all the three keys with him. Working Immobilizer. And moreover no broken glasses near the car.

But still many people rate IMC Immobilizer out of this world. And they dont even listen anything against it.

One group is very active in islamabad. More stolen Altis 1.6 are also reported. Guys don’t rely only on this Immobilizer.

I also heard from a friend that a GLi has stolen in rawalpindi it was 2017 facelift model and other person on pakwheels reported a grande 18 model stolen outside the house in ghouri town.
It is obvious now that immobilizer is not reliable.
Now the question is why corolla is attractive to theives, is it easy to stole or it has more value in black market ?

Maybe the immobilizer is not that much reliable as i heard suneel munj quoting the one given in corolla FL is just a gimmick and you have to take care of car even then but i think it would not be totally like that and the main facts remain corolla is hot cake in market so overall its theft demand is more.

It's very difficult to steal the Grande atleast. Thieves have to b be very modern with all State if the art equipments.

sir 4 grande's FL have already been stolen in past sometime as one gang is very active and there many videos on cctv are present, are very professional consisting of 4-5 people and on average 5min for car theft 1 in dha phase 1 other 1 other in commercial market 1 in ghuari town last one near Pakistan town got this info from satellite police station.

Dear @autophile does deactivating the smart entry system works in preventing range extenders from stealing FL Grande (with push start)?
Which can be done by pressing and holding the lock button (on remote) and then pressing unlock key twice.

and for more of your surprise they even stole 1 new civic x which they used for more theft of grande fl and a vezel even.

I am sory if you have confused grande's smart entry with Altis keyless entry, I dont know about 1.6
