Delivery time usually varies from dealership to dealership. You should check a couple of them and ask about delivery times. Don't think it will be a lot.

For city use it will be very comfortable but not very fuel efficient. If you use good oils and genuine filter and drive with an easy foot you'll get around 10kmpl. Features now are great however transmission is very sluggish and has only 4 forward gears.

You should also check out the new yaris ativ x. It's around 300k cheaper and has a lot more features, further from being facelifted/replaced and more fuel efficient along with being the "new" thing. However it's smaller than the Corolla. For comfort you should test drive it as it's just a guess that it's less comfortable since I've never been in it. Maybe someone who owns one can guide you about comfort.

You should consider Yaris in my opinion it has got a lot of features when compared to Altis 1.6

Brother thanks for your reply. In case of extra features in yaris there are
1.climate control (i dont think its useful in Pakistan)
2.keyless entry - still not a big think as my car will be mostly driven by driver and its also not that useful
3.cvt transmission yes its a drawback of altis but still in every day school run and groceries i dont think it matters in my case.
Corolla is well known by mechanics and everything is readily available in market and yaris is a new car it would take almost 2-3 years to establish in market and parts would be available and we dont even know the problems or issues in car as its not delivered to customers yet . Where as altis is much bigger and much more powerful and with a great resale . So its a big clash between these two cars as spending an extra 3 lacks brings you from a compact sedan to a luxury sedan.

I asked almost every dealership in Karachi and the time of delivery is October for altis and November for yaris . And even some idiots are asking for 3.5 lakh rupees loan

Yes brother checked the new yaris 1.5 ativ and test drove it for about 15 mins and it was a good option to consider ride was more smooth as compared to a corolla suspension was very soft . Power was optimum but felt sluggish as compared to 1.6 altis and yaris height is also a big issue its too dam high exactly like a fortuner height But the only thing i dont liked was the front shape of yaris its not as good looking and its looks don’t justify 3.0million as compared to corolla .

Really need some help i own a 2018 1.6 altis its 16k driven every oil change was done on 4k km car has been kept really well but the car does not give more than 9.4 to 9.5 average whatever i do sometimes i even get 8.5 to 8.9 average with Ac the max i get without Ac is 9.7 to 9.8 is this the average for this car or something wrong with my car?

I agree with you on this, in fact, its not just fair to compare Corolla Altis with Yaris as both are different segment sedans. Yaris can be compared with City and yes, it's far better car than City, but the only drawback in Altis is obsolete 4-Speed auto transmission instead of modern CVT transmission which will give a big difference in fuel average if your daily commute will be everyday school run and groceries etc. But still, if fuel average is not your biggest concern, then get an Altis 1.6 which is better than Yaris in almost every aspect, Hope it helps.

I think that you normally drive in heavy traffic because if you do, then this is the best mileage that you will get from Corolla Altis 1.6, however, if not, then maybe change the pump from where you're getting the fuel or maybe start driving it with a light foot on the pedal.

Exactly according to my knowledge and research altis 1.6 easily gives 10.5 to 13 average in city

Am not sure how u calculating this average. If from the meter display, try checking it from the menu option "After Start". This way u can see how it varies with drive conditions. Once i drove on GT rd at fixed 60-70 kms/hr for about half an hr without brakes. I literally got 19-21 km/lit for that segment on my 1.6

The pump from where i fill my car tank has the best fuel in pindi its known for its fuel quality and also dont drive in heavy traffic its some moderate traffic , this is not the average with heavy foot if i drive it harshly you expect it to come down to 7 or 7.5

Well, that's strange, because I also has the same 1.6 Altis FL and I'm getting around 10-11 kmpl local and around 15-16 kmpl on long routes Alhamdolillah. However, if other than average, your car is not giving you any trouble, then I won't recommend you to mess with anything because then it will start giving you other problems, just get the plugs checked and take some suggestions from any reliable mechanic (for instance Gul Autos in Rawalpindi (Qasim Market) or any other you trust) and I'm sure that you will get a solution for this problem.
By the way from which pump are you getting the best fuel in Pindi, maybe it will help me as well...
