My Toyota Corolla Altis 1.6 Facelift

Same issue 3 weeks pehle mere samney aya. Mein dealership k paas chala gaya. Unhon ne kafi daleelein di k ye is wajha se hai bla bla bla. Leikin Alhamdulillah mein ne paoon pr paani ni prne diya because mein dealership k paas janay se pehle hr possible test kr chuka tha. Alpine k vendors ko ye masla dekhne k liye Lahore ana para. Unho Head Unit b replace kr diya, speakers b replace kr diye, antenna b replace kr diya but issue was still there. So unhoon ne mere se solution k liye 4 - 5 days mangey aur monday ko rabta krne ka bola.. they said k agar issue solve na hua tw grande ka head unit lga dein gaye. Let's see what happens.

I actually know the cause of the issue but let IMC resolve this issue.

Grande head unit is more pethetic upon feed back from owners.....

A month they updated and two weeks before they replaced my infotainment but still it has same issue,

I complained directly to IMC again now IMC and Vendor working on it hopefully they will resolve the issue as soon as possible.

Actually the problem is inside the headunit.. built-in audio amplifier fails to amplify and transmit some frequencies at maximum bass and treble. Just increase the bass and treble to maximum in any Toyota Corolla Altis 1.6 FL's head unit, you will hear the distortion easily on Radio. Caution: Keep the volume b/w 10 - 13 else you may damage your ears.

Alhamdullilah drove the car more than 20000 KMs and have not face single issue till now except the infotainment system which has issue since first date.
Enjoying the suspension, and never let me tired while driving on bumpy roads.

Does Altis 1.6 FL have auto door lock system with speed close and open with parking? Or we have to install after market?

Bhai 1.6 has major gear shift feeling. SuperECT is obsolete now. It's better than 1.3 yes but not upto the mark. The transmission also gives poor fuel economy.

I respect your opinion. You can feel the gear change but fuel economy is not that bad. I get 10.9 - 12 km/l from my home to business. And that's pretty good for an automatic transmission.

P.s. I travel 15 km (each side) daily

Superect is far better than previous corolla automatic transmission in which you clerly feel gear shift jerk but in current model it gives very very slight shift feel.

In a week I drove more than 500 kms and on motorway it gives me 14km/l at 120 to 130. In city it gives me 9 to 12 km/l depends upon pressure on gas padel.

Fuel average depends upon how do you drive how do you maintain the car.

Ok brothers it was just my opinion. I had 1.6 2012 then 2016 1.6 auto. After i switched to cvti in 2017 there was hell of a difference. And i totally agree that new facelift 1.6 is a very good comfortable car. Its the just fuel econo which gets badly affected by its transmission.

Yes there is difference in trasmission of cvt and superect. I also kept the grande 2016 for few months.
