Wait a second sir, read the replies here, but if your friend's car is an altis you don't need the chakka, I didn't install any "chakka" it was plug and play, mine is a 2009 Altis Cruisetronic...check autokings in lahore they are reliable.

My friend has a 2012 Altis Cruisetronic. I also thought the clockspring would be present at first. I assume the variant with cruise control already has that. Will forward this information.

I do not think a "chakka" is needed at all, the chakka is needed for a Gli or Xli or a 1.6 Gli, the mechanic will remove your OEM one and put in a cheap knockoff. I am pretty sure the altis should have a chakka, unless Indus decided to cut that out too from the FL models of this shape...because in mine, everything was there and the only cost cutting was done not to put in the steering controls by Indus motors.
But find autokings on FB he is a very helpful guy and does this work he will let you know best.

Will be really weird if indus did that. I guess we will find out on this weekend. Will get in touch with the guy you are talking about. I doubt my friend will make the trip from bahria to Garhi Shahu but at least if we have the right information we won't get scammed.

So, some updates to the car,

1. Got this rare ZR6 grill through a friend that I really liked and was a bucket list item.
2. Finally got the blue/white backdrop FL altis meter, now this one has a lot of functions including temperature and eco, but for some reason those don't work on my ride neither does some of the other parameters, although they work fine in let's say a 2011+ gli or 1.6 gli (not mentioning altis since they already have these meters and the only added function would be is the temperature, which btw does work if your cluster has it.) anybody know a workaround or a solution. The looks is dope and matches the white lighting on the ac dials and the gear.
3. got the entire center console carbon fiber hydrodipped, really enhanced the look.
4. Colorchanging tints, these were bought by a friend from dubai and they loook really good on the car, the color changing properties are enhanced with specturm 25% under the purple tint.

Carbographics. Prices vary I have lost count how much I paid for all the trims but it was definitely under 50k top notch work though. I didn't like the outcome of two panels, just my finickyness. Re done till I was satisfied.

Sun blocking properties are great, to enhance the flip effect from the windows I put another 25% spectrum tint under the purple flip shade tints, so now it's like 50% visibility but I'm not bothered by it at night.
