My Toyota Corolla Gli, 2011

Finally my car got delivered yesterday at the dealership. Haven't got the delivery as yet because documents have still not been received by the dealership. Will take delivery once they have the documents too.

I know you can get delivery without documents but I dont want it that way.

Im getting the following things installed in my Corolla...

1. In Dash DVD player along with back Camera...
2. Wooden Kit
3. Fog Lights
4. Rear bumper lights (not interested in back led lights, had got them but returned them as I saw them on a car and the indicator light was not that properly visible when the parking lights were on along with break lights. Thus I found them a bit unsafe.)
5. Original Toyota Altis alloy rims
6. Security system (With Auto window roll up upon locking the car, LED display on the remote, Trunk open and Auto car start if handbreak pulled)
7. Front grill change
8. Auto retractible side view mirrors machine. (Brand New not second hand)
9. Air press
10. Getting all four mud flappers, four door handles and four door moulding coloured. (Not interested in side skirts. I had got these two but then returned them as I noticed that in some Corolla's (Gli and Xli) they slightly lost their shape after some time.)
11. Original Altis style seat covers, to be stitched as perfect tight fitting.
12. Steering cover to get stitched
13. Floor carpet mats, 3D style
14. And Silencer cover if I find a good one... (Apart from this I have got everything already just waiting for the car to be handed over to me).

I will keep uploading pictures along with these installations to be made.

I have got the registeration number booked and reserved also. Its 700.

Oooohhh.... This means that Toyota Indus delivered me a 2010 model with mentioning 2011 as envoice/ manufacturing date..... What cheats

2011 model till date has no change, change is expected in May/ June 2011 when they will launch 1.6 version as well. They are going to stop production of 1.8 version.

did u asked the saleperson at the dealership or u are just assuming that the 1.8ltr altis is going to be discontinued once they launch the 1.6 altis? would appreciate it if u could clear this up for me. thanks

and oh MASHALLAH u have got urself a nice car plus color too and the best item in ur to do list is the ORIGINAL ALTIS RIMS, i simply love Altises rims.

I work for a multi-national bank and am looking after Toyota Indus's account for north region, so during a conversation with their team in Karachi I got to know of 1.6 to replace 1.8 and it would be launched around May/ June 2011. Same was confirmed to me by 2-3 dealership with whom I have to interact on daily basis.

The wheel cups were laying packed in the boot. They are put on after the wash by the dealership.

Get side skirts they wont loose there shape in the 10th Gen Corolla the foot board is the side skirt. Which means ur Gli also has side skirts only the shape is changed. So u have to get the whole thing replaced. Not a fibre side skirt on the current foot board. if u get the whole thing replaced from the dealership (it costs around 7-10k with door moudlings and paint)

1. Where is the Dealership and how was your experiance with them.
2. What documents or things were you given while receiving the car. ie free check ups etc any thing complimentary.
3. When did you book your car and after how much days it arrived.
4. plz do mention the price and purchasing location of things when you upload the upgrades.
   5.you did the registration process yourself or let the dealership do it.
   6.How much does it cost for the Islamabad number is it 52000Rs or 62000Rs.

i know these are lot of questions. im really looking forward for your reply....
