Vehicle: Suzuki Liana 2008 RXI CNG. I have to admit that Liana is an excellent car. I drove this car 12 hours straight and I was not tired and I drove all the way till Naran on CNG and the car performed excellent on cng. Many City’s, Cultus’s were struggling driving uphill but this car was belting up on mountains on cng. It’s a brilliant car and it has excellent road grip, brakes and acceleration. My car has Bosch 4 tip plugs installed and it is 30000km driven. The best thing was the mileage this car drove 180km avg on full cng with ac. And I only drove 50km on petrol on the whole journey and the car gave me an avg of 18km/l with ac. I touched 150 km/h on cng and a/c with car full of of luggage and four people on M2.Trip Summary:We Left house at 5:30 AM 9/6/2010. Filled car from petrol, 10 litres of hi octane and cng and then Entered on Motorway at 6:00 AM. CNG station at Chakri was closed so we drove on petrol till the M1 ends at GT road (N35). Reached Abbotabad at 12:00 PM. Had our lunch from Usmania Hotel. The food was not very good so we returned chicken Jalfrezi as it was not fresh but Chicken Handi was ok. Then we Left Abbotabad at 2:30. Reached Balakot at 3:40. Left to naran without stopping. The road to naran N15 was very wet that day and too dangerous. Road work was in progress at couple of places. Liana has high road clearance so we didn’t face any trouble due to road works and land slides. We entered Naran at 6:00 pm after crossing two dangerous glaciers on the way from Kaghan to Naran. We had our booking at Cabana hut at PTDC Naran. Hut was good with attached bath two beds. The rate was 5000rs per night. It was too much compared to the rates of other hotels at this time of season as the season starts from 15th June according to the locals. The avg rate of good room was 1500rs to 2000rs which is expected to rise to 5000rs in peak times. We were Lucky as routes to Lake Saifulmaluk opened on 10/6/2010 before that the jeeps could not reach till the lake people had to walk till the last 4km. During our stay in Naran (9/6/2010—13/6/2010) there was less people and hotels were less occupied but from Saturday 12/6/2010 many people were hiring rooms and till night hotels were almost full and rates were rising.On my way back on Sunday 13/6/2010. Roads were dry and road was better till Balakot than before. Our trip was very good and we had our lunch from Abbottabad from a new hotel named Lasani it had opened on 10/6/2010 it was new hotel and there food was very good we ordered chicken Manchurian and chicken with pineapple. And there food was very fresh and tasty I would recommend everyone to try it. Its on main Abbotabad road just before leaving Abbotabad and on the right side if you are going towards Manshera . We reached home Sunday night. I thank ALLAH for safe and enjoyable trip to Naran. We all should love our country, it is blessed with very beautiful places. May Allah give our rulers right direction and they pay attention to develop these beautiful places and promote tourism.

@Dark_walkerThanks brother
Went to the start of the Naran city where the locals had fitted water pump to wash car. And washed my car.
nice picx...This hotel is cheap aas u mention ,Rent was 2000rs for three bed room..IS it true?
yes but he gave me this rate on 11/6/2010 and that was offseason and this hotel had only one room occupied, the season will start from tomorrow (15/6/2010) according to locals and rates will definitely rise. you can call on the number i gave and they can give you the latest rates and reserve room. I had definitely paid a lot to PTDC compared to other good hotels in Naran at this time of season as the rates of PTDC will remain same throughout this season.
