@ asd123...ur suggestion is right..we had nokia 6600 from which the pics were taken..the last batch of small resolution pics that i posted were taken from a digital cam from another guy in the trip but he forgot to increase the resolution of the digital cam...(haunting for Arid :P)

thats the beauty of the salt hash...I didn't drown either in the salty water as well

U know the lakes which are made by the water pouring through the mountain inside the mine comprise of at least 60 feet deep but not to worry..it supersaturated solution of salt and water..even poppat cannot dissolve or drown into that

@ beeberg..ohh i didn't know that u r from chukwal...we went through chakwal also and we went to katas from khewra as well. Also we did a brief visit to Choasaidan Shah on our way back...well if the next time i plan a trip..it will be with Pakwheelers and V will be the guests and U will be the host

can some1 please tell me how to get to this place from islamabad. do i have to take the islamabad- lahore motorway for this?
also please guide me where is QILA ROHTAS AND KATAS MANDAR. is it somewhere near salt range?

For Salt Range & Katas Mandir you take the Isloo-Lahore Mototway and get of at Kalar Kahar exit. Once you are off, there is a small road almost parallel to Motorway going towards Lahore just take that and you will reach Katas Mandir. For Rohats Fort take GT-Road, The fort is near Jehlum.
