Mystry Unsolved - Cultus VXRi

I think there is no solution for the following problems occure in cultus vxri
1. CNG light blinking problems
2. RPM drops down resuults in shutdown the engin while car in running position
second problem occur usually when u apply breaks and press the clutch to slow down. it happens very rare but happen.
I have check it from suzuki several times, but no gain. even their suzuki karachi engineers check my car but unable to find the exact cause and solution to it.
if anyone have any idea or solution, kindly share it here for other's help.

please take it to an independant mechanic, usually the mechanics at factory showrooms/workshops aren't really that good.

if mechanics can make a carby cultus run fine there shouldn't be any problem with the (much) better fuel injected model.

the same situation is being faced by me on my VXRi...

it ok on petrol but does this thing on CNG.. Lekin not always... kabhi kabhi ye harkatein karti hai

CNG tuning required experience and time... which lacks on showrooms

outdoor mechanics dont have the software for efi cars,that's y i dont think that they are unable to set the settings which suzuki require for their efi engins, it is not just the matter of proper tuning or something like that.
as i told thei karachi engineers are also unable to get it solved, then it means they are also not capable.

the problem is with the CNG settings, there are a lot of workshops here equipped with modern facilities.. it could be your bad luck if you were unable to find a good workshop in Karachi

in that case i'd suggest you contact spectra, there isn't a car with CNG he cannot fix. i think he was in FSD a few days back so that woudl probably mean that he'll come back there some time in the future.

I think the problem is with CNG injection into the engine at low temperatures in winters, that's why when you apply brakes suddenly the car engine shuts down. It used to happen to me when I had a Khyber.

I m from faisalabad, and i dont think that here is any high equiped workshop after suzuki authorized dealers.
If anyone knows about such workshop, kindly refer it.

yes its not matter of temperature, as it happened to me for more than 1 year since i purchased it.

As per my info In cultus VXRI there is an air blocker (black plastic washer) installed in side of air intake pipe from engine to air cleaner box just take it (black plastic washer) out its Iner hole size is 27mm but VXRI engine's required just 24mm for air so try to find some hard plastic sheet or any 20ltr's water gallon's cap then make a hole of 24mm in center of this sheet and put it in same area where's that black plastic washer was installed or you can ask with any work shop to replace that thing its will increase gas flow towards engine when RPM's are less then 900/rpm

here is the combination of air blockers for VXRI just installed another 24mm blocker at main intrance of air filter box with (black 27mm) (silver 24mm)

hi fellow,

being an owner of vxri for the past 1 year my observation is that..... these are not typical CNG issues which are normally encountered in other local CNG fitted cars.

It is related to Lamda controller plus the stepper mottor installed in it to control the gas flow.

The lendi Ranzo software which Pak Suzuki is using to adjust the lamda settings is not publically available to any independent mechanic atleast in ISB\RWP to date. And none of other s\w are compatibale.

These problems are very common in first few batches of these cars produced in pakistan, later on due to quite a huge number of complaints all over the country i came to know that they have reprogrammed the software and they have connttrolled this issue to some extent. [though i have reservations over this pak suzuki statemet]

what i think.... the only factor which is causing the malfunction of the stepper motor is the air flow....... with dusty air and varying CNG quliaty at different pumps its very hard provide lambda its operating environment and hence due to poor mixture the engine stalls or shutdown when you press the clutch to slow down. [Lamda is a sensitive system, and its not a success in dusy driving conditions here]

I agree with kaiser, Pak suzuki has failed to provide any sort of assistence in this regard,

with apologies i must say that some fellow here was mentioning to take ur car to Zafar at federal motors in abpara....i took my car to him some while ago and after all his efforts ( which spanned over 2 weeks of my contineous visits) what i was told is that... the car is perfect the probelm is with the CNG i am using after that i have decided never took my car to any of suzuki dealer.
