Myths regarding 660cc Cars

Change in class- nope, not really a change. Passo and Mira e:s have the same things offer. Infact Mira es does offer a few things better. Plus honestly there's not much change . But Mira if compared with cultus 1000cc would be an injustice to Mira.
Features wise 660s have as many features as any 1000 - 1300cc car in jdm category. And u know that better.
Why shouldn't we buy motorcycles or say a small car like FX or Mehran and keep all the money in the bank and it will finance their fuel as well as other Maintainance expenditure.
See don't confuse engine size with features and class. It's just a wrong perception we all have.

If i get a choice of choosing between mira eS and Passo , I would definitely go for Passo because both are having same price tags.

If you are driving Passo or vitz or swift and you get an option of buying mira eS will you go for mira ?
Passo gives 15 km/l and mira eS does 20-22 , if u want to get a small car then you can get pino and save extra 2-3 lacs for fuel

ais lia personal opinion ha always buy brand new car as compared to these accidental and high millage cars

I sold my mira eS for 1140 , i told the person everything that this side is painted , side mirror is repaired , it was hit front underneath , i will remove cd player , the price is high , the denters and painters he bought couldn't recognise the rapired area .
Still after a day he came and took the car , this bher chaal is going on , prius in hybrid , mira es in 660 it doesn't matter if u can get a better car , bigger car (Passo , corolla) in 11 50 k but people want mira es , it took me just a day to sell the car and i was amazed

In Japan price tag of mira eS is low and comparable with other 660cc cars ... It starts from 7 lac yen(Brand new car ) So this does not make them stupid

I am talking about Japan.
Why did you go for a 18 lac1300cc Semi hybrid when you could have easily gone for Civic hybrid. The car has bigger displacement isnt it ?

Obviously, as i stated this earlier that it's just 'my opinion'. But again, my opinion is based on certain experiences that I have come across. I have run a lot of 660s my self and that's where my opinion has come from.

Firstly, high wear and tear will only come if you use the car harshly. See, it's not made for power obviously but these engines would last a lot if you use them the correct way. See, if you put a lot of stress on the engine like if you race or use the car harshly then obviously the wear and tear would be more. That applies to all the engines not just 660's.

Secondly , i 660's have smaller engines but you should also consider the power to weight ratio. These cars are built smaller. The engine itself is smaller in weight. A 660cc car with 4 people sitting is not gonna put stress on the engine but if you accommodate 6 people then there will be a problem but again, its not gonna impact as much.

Thirdly not all parts are expensive. You can get a sealed engine of Mira 660 in just under 30k. Other daily usage parts are not expensive. But, yeah, in general these parts are more expensive than locally made ones but then again, all the imported cars have this issue. Not just 660cc cars.

Most of the 660 are with 3 speed fwd tranny . Talking about long route imagine driving ur car in 3rd gear all the way at motorway @ 120km/hr

Still u say that engine will be stressed when it will be driven harshly? dont u think the engine would be crying for help/mercy at 120 km/hr in 3rd gear continuously?

Firstly the auto tramission used in 660's with 3 speed fwd is different than running ur car on 3rd gear. 3 speed fwd transmission is different in these 660's. Aap 3rd gear pe 120 speed lagaen corolla pe for instance usme buht masla hoga but pino or Mira 3rd gear auto mein sahih chalogi Infact better chalegi. Inki setting inke engine k Lihaz se hui hoti hai.
Secondly I never said they are ideal for long routes. I said you can take them like twice or thrice the year as they are safe. Plus they perform better than my Old shape 2007 corolla interms of engine performance and grip. Agar aapke paas sedan hai, then u can use that instead of these 660s.

Most of the cars now imported have CVTs or 4 speed fwd transmission. Just to let you know
