Help needed
I am using dell laptop. This morning my kid sprinkled water on its keyboard wid his feeder. I cleaned it with towel.
Now my password had 345 in its end. But the keyboard is writing #$% when i type 345. How to solve this issue? I hv tried pressing function key as well. But still #$% ....

Use number pad to type password temporarily.

The problem is with shift key. Good that hard drive and motherboard is safe.

In case of liquid spills, you have to power it off, remove the battery quickly and then dry it. Take it to service centre.

If you kept it on in wet state for long, then it could be keyboard liquid damage, not expensive repairs and sometimes fixed by cleaning the contacts.

Edit: Press all keyboard buttons one by one and then check.

But it doesnt have numpad. Battery is fixed aswell.

Yes alham dullilah it worked.
But keypad is bit abnormal now.
When i press key 1 it writes 12, upon pressing 6, it writes 6t.
Now put laptop for drying in window.
